Rosetta's POV:

26th March

"Tell me again how you forgot your boyfriend's birthday" Kayla exclaims as we walk down through Hogsmead
"Shut up Kayla" I mumble, more frustrated with myself than her
"Seriously how could you forget his birthday?" Both Reg and Remus chorus looking at me like I've grown a second head
"I've been preoccupied trying to catch up in defence, I'm falling even further behind" I try to explain
"And who's been helping you with that?" Rem asks
"James, okay can we leave it! I screwed up alright! Now can you help me figure out what I'm supposed to get him, cos you guys have organised the party in the common room and I've done nothing" I snap getting frustrated
"Alright, calm down, deep breathe, you could always jump in on the party with us" Rem suggests
"That would make me the worst girlfriend ever" I sulk
"Hey you could get him some new quidditch gloves he's in desperate need of them" Rem tells me
"Okay great and then maybe some chocolate and sweets from Honeydukes?" I ask
"Sounds good" Reg replies as he wraps an arm around Kayla's shoulders

Timeskip

Finally I pay for the chocolates and sweets and we head back to the castle as I was supposed to be meeting James for another tutor session since I'm falling so far behind, great.

Eventually I enter the library, 20 minutes late mind you, to see him reading a book on quidditch or something

"Hi sorry, Rem needed to speak to me" I lie easily
"And here was me thinking you just didn't want to study" he winks cheekily
"Haha, never, I love it" I roll my eyes as I grab my book out of my bag "right let's begin before I run away" he shakes his head amused
"You really are something Ro" I look up making eye contact with him, I quickly peck him on the lips and then I sassily reply
"Now dear teacher are you going to help me or not" he rolls his eyes but begins to help me with my homework and the subject as a whole.

"We've got to go for dinner" i inform him
"Bored of me already" he winks once again
"Such a flirt" I comment more to myself than him "let's just go, I'm hungry"
"Yes my lady" he bows before slinging my bag ,which contains all our books, over his shoulder 
"Wow he has manners, what a surprise" He laughs as he follows me out of the library and in the direction to the great hall
"Your so sassy" he declares from behind me, I turn around briefly
"Is that a bad thing?" I ask watching him
"It's not something I noticed before we got together but no I love it" I shake my head before wrapping my arms around his neck
"Hmmm I'm more comfortable with you now, I couldn't stand you before" I peck his cheek before heading off again
"Wow thanks" I hear him say as he jogs to catch up
"Your welcome" I chuckle as we head into the great hall and I take a seat next to Reg and opposite Rem

"People are staring" Reg whispers
"At what?" I confusedly look around, he's right
"I mean you were so flirty with him when you walked in, I guess people didn't realise it was official between you two" he shrugs before turning his attention to the food on the table
I look around like a deer caught in headlights.

Everyone's looking curiously at me and James, I turn to my friends and say
"I'm not that hungry I'll see you later" They watch me looking concerned but I quickly leave

Once I exit the hall I turn a corner and rest my back against the wall trying to steady my breathing
"Ro, hey, try to breath through it, yeah?" I look James in the eye "what happened?" He asks once my breathing returns to a somewhat normal pattern
"Too many people looking at me, just caught me by surprise" he nods "you can go sit with them I'm just going to go to the kitchens, I need a little time on my own"
"Okay just let me know if you need to talk or anything" he wraps his arms around me and I hug him back and when he lets me go he heads towards the hall again and I head to the kitchens.
