XXII. Responsibility

Being responsible is not only saved for keeping your room clean and taking care of your personal belongings. A responsible person always thinks about the consequences of their actions, no matter how old they are or whoever they are.
One of the problems we have is dealing with young people and their bad behavior. For example, you're an adult who is being messed with by an annoying kid online. It is only natural for you to call him out and teach him a lesson. But oh no! His mommy butts in and demands you try to put up with it as he is "only twelve." Let that sink in.
This kid is old enough to understand whatever he is doing might upset others. He isn't a babbling toddler anymore. The parent should teach him good character at a young age and quit silencing criticism (even from those who aren't parents themselves).
It is raising a whole generation of entitlement where having such a bad attitude is normal. They will continue acting this way unless they are taught a lesson. Whatever you throw at others will come back at you.
Don't be afraid to call someone out when you feel like they're doing something wrong, regardless of age.
