I turned off my alarm and groan when I feel my whole body hurts. Probably because of what happened last night. I get up already and stretched for a minute before I go downstairs to cook breakfast.

It's only 6 in the morning, when I walked out of my room, I checked the guest room kung doon ba natulog si Ken. When I walk inside, I see him sleeping peacefully. Ilang minuto ko muna siyang tinitigan bago ako lumabas at dumiretso sa kusina para magluto.

By the time I was done cooking and preparing, nakita kong gising na si Ken at bumababa na.

"Ken, let's have breakfast," I called him. He walked inside the dining area and join me for breakfast.

"Good morning Mia!" He greeted me with a slight smile before sitting down.

"Morning!" I beamed also and sit on my chair and started eating.

While eating, I feel strange feelings. It's been a while since someone joined me for breakfast. When I said someone – I mean someone who's not my friend and blood-related. Hindi din naman kasi ako nakikipag date because I don't have time for that. But today, it feels so weird to have someone with me for breakfast.

I looked at Ken for a minute. Aminado ako na ang gwapo niya talaga. He has this look that will make people who met him curious, and I am one of those people. By looking at him from afar and up close, mababatid mo agad that he's a silent type of person. Kasi gaya ngayon, he's really quiet.

After breakfast, Ken volunteered to clean the kitchen and wash the dishes since I was the one who cooked breakfast. Pumayag na rin ako at umakyat na ulit sa kwarto ko para maligo at mag-asikaso. It was already 7:15 AM when I finished preparing kaya bumaba na agad ako.

Pagbaba ko ay nakita kong malinis na sa kusina, inantay ko si Ken sa sala bago ako umalis since he insisted last night to be my bodyguard. It feels weird having a bodyguard, but I don't want to treat Ken like that. Gwapo naman niyang bodyguard.

It was almost 7:35 AM ng bumaba si Ken. He's wearing Kuya Ivan's sweater, which I already prepared last night bago ako matulog. Yung pants niya is still the same kasi malaki yung pants ni Kuya Ivan. I gave him the black mask and a cap to cover his face. Good thing he has long hair.

After making sure na nakalock ang buong bahay ay agad na kaming umalis ni Ken. He's the one who's driving. Habang nasa biyahe, I read all the emails I received, and one of the important ones I received is a voice record sent by Dave.

Dave:

After reading the message Dave sent me, I get my earphones, but before I even put it on my phone Ken get them to me. I looked at him questioningly.

"Papakinggan ko rin kung ano man yung papakinggan mo." He said. What? Aware ba sya na I'm currently working? Obviously not.

"Ken what I am going to listen to is work-related. So, give back my earphones." I said to him.

"Ayoko! Bilang body guard mo dapat alam ko kung ano ang mga pinapakinggan at mga ginagawa mo para maprotektahan kita." Sabi niya habang ang mga mata ay nasa daan pa rin.

I looked at him with disbelief in my eyes. Gawain ba yun ng body guard? Pero, I am not treating him as my bodyguard.

"No, Ken. This thing is confidential." Sabi ko ulit sa kanya. Lumingon sya sakin saglit at bumuntong hininga.
