THINKING

Hongjoong was waiting for the night to come, as he contemplated to leave the mansion. He had enough of this cruelty and enveloped freedom. While waiting, he decided to have a talk with his older brother.

"Jongin-hyung? Are you there?" He called, but instead of Jongin answering him, he found Sehun there, treating Jongin's wounds.

The young Kim waited for Sehun to go out, but he couldn't avoid to eavesdrop.

"Is it okay? Does it hurt?" Sehun questioned worrily, holding a kit, "yes. I can still manage, thank you, Sehun." Jongin assured, smiling at Sehun.

He couldn't help but to think that there's something between these two.

"As far as I could remember, Sehun is my butler and Jongin has his. This is suspicious."

Hongjoong shrugged those thoughts and came inside Jongin's room without hesitation. "Hongjoong, do you need anything?" His brother asked, pulling down his shirt, "I should take my leave." Sehun stated, bowing to the two, "Don't." Hongjoong interjected.

Sehun was confused at first, but the young Kim motioned him to sit down beside his older brother.

"Don't interject. I'm leaving this place for good, please don't look after me and don't tell anyone." The young Kim voiced out, creating a fist, "I get it that you wanna leave, but where to?" Jongin questioned, unconciously placing his hand over Sehun's thighs, "Somewhere, but not here." The younger answered.

The older Kim smiled, somehow Hongjoong felt relieved, "you can search for freedom. Me and Jennie will take care here and soon, we will meet each other and live like a what normal siblings do." Jongin stated, patting his brother's shoulder.

Another night kicked in, another time for Hongjoong to leave but this time, permanentely. He craves from freedom and peace in which his uncle couldn't afford to give him.

While he was preparing to leave, he heard Jongho, Mingi and Yunho being scolded by the high ranked guard, Jung Jaehyun.

"For the 7th time, why can't you keep the young Kim inside?" Jaehyun inquired, trying to keep his cool. Hongjoong was listening outside, and asked himself, "if I leave this place, would they be better?"

He sighed and frowned. Now he just realized things on how terrible he was. He kept using others just to create trouble, and to be fixed by others. "Why am I just realizing this things now?" He asked himself, then running to Jennie's room for an apology.

As he reached the room, he heard his sister being beaten. Hongjoong peeked at the small creaked of the door, and saw how his sister being beaten up by a bat with torns around it. Jennie's back was filled with blood.

"This motherfucker."

Hongjoong wanted to barge, but the anxiety crept inside him, as he thought of the consequences breaking the law. Instincts kicked in, he sprinted outside the mansion.

"I was hurting so much person with my carelessness. What the fuck is wrong with me?" He asked himself furiously, pulling his hair, in a split second he felt lost. "Where the fuck am I going?" Hongjoong questioned himself again, still guilt and frustration rushing through his veins. Without any doubt, he walked in a nowhere destination and contemplated.

"If I wasn't born, will my siblings be like this? No, right?"
"If I could kill somebody, it will be Jairo, of course."
"If—"

Before gets to contimue his thoughts, he bumped into a familiar figure and surprisingly, it's his sister's body guard, Mingi. As the young man familiarized his master's sibling, he couldn't help but worry and scared at the same time.

Mingi grabbed Hongjoong by both shoulders, "what the hell are you doing here?!" He asked furiously, slightly shaking Hongjoong into conciousness, "I need to go, I need to go, leave me alone!" Hongjoong shouted, pushing the man away, "don't ever come looking for me, I want to be alone and die alone!" The young Kim added, sounding like a drunk man.

"And tell Jongho, I'm sorry." He stated, wistful expression was painted on his face and a pang of pain in his voice. After talking to his sister's personal guard, he walked into the path of nowhere, he wanted to leave the Quiri as soon as possible.

Slowly walking outside, seven security guards spotted him leaving the gate just like a normal villager. He was still unconcious, overthinking of why did ge left instead of saving his older brother and personal guard.

"Hey! Mr. Kim! Come back, you have curfew!" A guard shouted that brought him back to conciousness. He was alerted that made him run swiftly and fortunately, he escaped the gate before it closed.

"Slow motherfuckers."

Then laughed loudly as if he was a prison that escaped from the jail. He procceeded on running where his legs will bring him, he just hope it's somewhere safe and comfortable, not like Quiri.
