I stare down at Trinity in horror as everyone starts freaking out. "Somebody get some bandages!" Darius yells and I watch as her eyes keep opening and closing as if she's fighting to stay conscious, but isn't winning. I fall to my knees beside her slipping my hand into hers as her eyes glaze over. "Trinity, its gonna be alright," Ben shouts over the thunder.

"Stop!"

"Trinity? Please be okay, please," I whisper to her as her eyes slip shut again. "I can't lose you again. I just can't." I close my eyes ignoring the pelting rain coming down on me as thunder claps loudly in the sky. "Kenji!" I open my eyes and see Brooklyn crouching down beside her with bandages in her arms.

"The quills are poisonous. We gotta take them out of her." I nod and let go of Trinity's hand, wrapping it around one of the quills while Brooklynn's got the other two. "Okay, on my count." I look at Trinity feeling bad for her as I know how much this is gonna hurt. "I'm sorry," I tell her even if she might not be able to hear me.

"One, two, three!" We yank them out and Trinity's back arches off the ground as she screams in pain. I take her hand again as Brooklynn starts wrapping her torso with bandages that were meant for dinosaurs. Trinny's breathing becomes erratic and I can tell it's getting harder and harder for her to keep her eyes open. "Trinity? Trinity!"

Her eyes close and don't open again telling me that she's finally lost consciousness. "Help me get her out of the rain." Brooklynn makes a move to grab her feet but I just pull her into my arms, lifting her up off the ground and carrying her under an overhang, out of the rain. Sammy brings something over to prop her head up and I nod in thanks before slipping it under her head.

Blue chitters softly and nudges Trinity's hand with her snout as if attempting to wake her up. I hold Trinity's other hand not knowing what else to do. I'm not any help to anyone. I'm useless. I hear Owen pacing back and forth, but don't take my eyes off Trinity. Blue continues to make heartbroken noises as she sniffs at Trinity, rubbing against her cheek before finally laying down at her side, keeping her eyes trained on the sick girl.

My mood gets worse as I'm forced to sit here and watch her shivering and whimpering unable to do anything to help her. I tighten my grip on her hand hoping she knows I'm here. "Hey, Trinny, I'm here. I'm so sorry that this is happening to you. I wish there was something I could do to help you."

"Taking out the quills wasn't enough. The poison's already in her system she needs an antidote!" Darius whisper's except I can hear every word they're saying. "That won't be easy to find, considering no one even knew this thing existed," Yaz remarks from behind me and I shake my head, fighting back sorrow as Trinity continues to shiver.

"Maybe the medical supply station has something?" Ben suggests and Yaz answers, "Doubt it."

"Yaz's right. The Scorpios rex wasn't supposed to ever get out." Brooklynn suddenly gasps and I turn to look at them. "The video on Wu's old lab!" Sammy's eyes widen in realization and she nods. "He was attacked by the Scorpios, and they were givin him this shot from a red vial."

"Sammy's right. I think they said it was an antidote, I'm not—" I jump to my feet and race over to her, cutting her off when I grab onto her shoulders. "Where is it? The lab?" She reaches into her jacket and pulls out a folded up map. I take it from her and unfold it, looking down at it. "Near the raptor paddock."

"Take care of Trinity until I get back. I'm going to get that antidote."

"You can't go out there Kenji," Ben exclaims and I narrow my eyes at them. "I can't just sit here and do nothing!"

"What Ben means is that it shouldn't be you. I'm the fastest and we need to get that antidote into her as soon as possible." Yaz takes off toward the gate, pushing me and Darius aside. "Wait, Yaz! The Scorpios went that way!" Dino nerd calls to her and she shakes her head.
