"So it is you after all. I expected no less from you. Aaron."

The blonde haired scientist was sat on a desk in the small closed room. I had chased him through the winding corridors, cornering him here. His aura glowed an unusually deep blue, my eyes quickly scanning over the scientist.

"I don't even know who you are." A quiet grin spread across my face as I kept my gaze fixed on the scientist, "But I'm not letting you escape."

Colress smirked. At first I could tell he didn't think I was serious. But, my eyes were fixed on him, unwavering even as he stared back. He moved away from the desk, slowly reaching for a pokeball.

Dragonite moved in front of me, taking a battle stance in the enclosed room. Even though the makeshift battlefield wasn't exactly advantageous for the flying type, I was confident in her battling abilities.

"Then I guess this is a good time to test this out."

The scientist drew out a pokeball, releasing a red steel plated Genesect. Quietly, the paleozoic pokemon kept her eyes fixed on Dragonite, the dragon pokemon unwavering under the pressure.

"Dragonite, hydro pump."

"Zap cannon!"

Colress called out his counter quickly as the dragon pokemon launched a torrential blast of water toward the red steel pokemon. Just as a call was made, Genesect hunched forward, preparing the cannon on its back. A huge orb, bursting with electricity was fired, colliding with the blast of water. The two attacks cancelled each other out, even though one had the clear advantage.

I looked across the room, my eyes locking onto the scientist. A brilliant mind like his should be able to see that this battle would only have one outcome. Nonetheless, I knew he wouldn't give in easily. Colress took a breath to compose himself, looking up to the battle.

"Genesect use iron head!"

The red steel pokemon launched itself from the floor, charging toward the dragon pokemon across the room. I waited a moment, not rushing to make the call. I didn't need to because Dragonite already knew what to do.

In one swift motion, the orange scaled dragon spun her body, swinging her tail directly over the head of the red steel pokemon sending it crashing through the floor below. A huge hole had opened in the floor, Colress now trapped on the other side of the room.

I could hear Genesect below, humming with life. An attack like that was sure to awaken the legendary pokemon from its quick sleep, reigniting its battle spark. Quickly, the red steel pokemon lifted itself through the floor, floating in the air between Colress and us. Its eyes were glowing deep red, clearly engaged in the battle now.

"Iron head again!"

No response. The red steel pokemon was no longer responding to the hesitant scientist. Even though Colress was an experienced battler, even he wasn't able to control this legendary pokemon for long.

The scientist looked up, a panicked look on his face. He made it obvious that even he hadn't prepared for something like this. Colress was in over his head, quickly escaping through a secret back door.

Floating in the air, the red steel Genesect kept its gaze fixed on Dragonite.

"Superpower Dragonite!"

Cloaked in a hot red steam, the dragon pokemon grappled her target to the floor. Genesect was unable to escape from Dragonite's tight grip as she threw the steel pokemon into the wall of the small room.

The weak wall crumbled to dust, Genesect struggling to its feet as it climbed through the rubble. Sunlight was pouring into the room from the outside, a gaping hole to our side. The red steel pokemon looked at Dragonite before turning to the outside world. It must have been contemplating its escape and now that Colress was no longer controlling it, freedom was back on the table.
