It's the next day and Harper is due to be discharged from the hospital. She has called Casey to come pick her up but he is running a little late. She is packing up her things when she hears a knock at the door
"Kelly?" Harper says as she turns around to look at him
"Harper" Kelly says with puffy eyes from crying the whole ride here
"Where the hell have you been?" Harper asks
"Look-" Kelly says before Harper cuts him off
"No! It's my turn to talk! I've been in here for over a week Kelly! That's 9 whole days! And not once have you decided to visit me! Not even a call or a text to make sure I'm doing okay! In case you've forgotten I'm your wife! The mother of your children! Not some side chick you got knocked up years ago!" Harper shouts
"Harper" Kelly says but Harper keeps going
"Miami! When you got hurt! And when you landed yourself in the ICU! Who left our 5 month old to come and see you! Me! I did! I flew 3 hours to come and see you! The one reason I came here was to get away from that hell hole! And I went back just to hold your hand and make sure you weren't alone! That's the kind of person I am Kelly!" Harper shouts with her voice breaking
"I know you did! And I'm so great full for you every day! Do you think it was easy going through that! I didn't know if you were gonna make it through the night or not! I planned out what I was going to say to the kids! How could I have explained to a 2 year old why their mum wasn't coming home Huh?" Kelly shouts
"I go through that too Kelly! Everyday! I'm scared I have to have the talk with the kids! But if you can't separate work from home then that's your problem not mine! Now I suggest you get the hell out of here before one of us say something we're gonna regret! And shower for god sake! You reek of scotch!" Harper shouts as Kelly drops his head and walks out
Harper throws her bag across the hospital room and sits on the bed. She sobs and sobs until Casey appears
"Hey! What's wrong?" Casey says giving Dawson a worried look
"I love him with every bone in my body! But I can't do this anymore!" Harper says whilst sobbing
"Do what honey?" Dawson asks
"Play the hot and cold game with Kelly! One minute he's on my side the next he's avoiding me at all costs! Maybe it is time I file for a divorce?" Harper says as she drops her head....
