Chapter 42 - Arguments

Kelly looks at himself in the mirror before peering down at his hand. His hand is bleeding badly and has glass in it. Not to mention that the mirror has a giant hole in it.
"Hey Dawson?" Kelly asks peering his head into the bunk room
"What's up?" Dawson asks looking up from her magazine
"Can you come here for a sec?" Kelly asks
"Sure?" Dawson says as she gets up and follows Kelly into the bathroom
Dawson walks in to see the smashed mirror with pieces of glass on the floor. She then looks at Kelly's hand dripping with blood
"I'll go get some gauze" Dawson says as she runs out to the rig
"How did you do this?" Dawson asks as she starts to treat Kelly's hand
But Kelly just looks at his hand
"Is there a reason you didn't want Harper to do this? The last I checked she was a qualified paramedic" Dawson says as she controls the bleeding
"I don't need her to do everything for me!" Kelly says as Dawson puts on the bandage and he gets up
"Kelly?" Dawson asks as Kelly stops
"What" He says
"Come clean to her" Dawson says as Kelly sighs and walks out
It's later that night and of course Kelly has come home late. Harper is walking out of the twins bedroom after putting them to sleep
"Hey" Harper says as Kelly walks by and ignores her
"Okay what have I done wrong Kelly?! Your pushing me away and I'm trying to hold on but I can't anymore!" Harper shouts
"Do we have to get into this right now!?" Kelly shouts
"Yeah we do! I can't have you pushing me around any more Kelly! I have stuck by you so many times in the past few years!" Harper shouts as Kelly looks at her
"How have you stuck by me?! Huh?" Kelly shouts as he slams his water down on the table
"You made out with another girl! And look at me! I'm still married to you! You smashed our wedding picture and I'm still here! You went on a bender when I was rotting in a hospital room but I'm still here aren't I? I could have left you years ago! I could have gotten custody of the kids and you would have never saw them again! But I didn't Kelly! I stuck by you and this is how your gonna treat me?" Harper shouts as tears stream down her face
"Go then" Kelly mutters
"What?!" Harper says
"Leave! Walk out that door and send me the divorce papers!" Kelly says as Harper's heart sinks
"That's all this means to you then! I'm not worth fighting for? Our marriage has meant nothing to you these past 12 years?" Harper says as she sobs
Kelly just looks down at the ground
"Your gonna kill yourself! You know that?" Harper shouts as Kelly's eyes shoot up
"What are you talking about?!" Kelly says slightly panicking
"Those pills Kelly! I'm a paramedic! I can tell when your pupils are enlarged! Don't make me take this to Boden!" Harper says as tears fall down Kelly's face
"I'll let you sleep on that divorce! I'll sleep in with Aria tonight" Harper says as she walks into arias room to find her sitting awake
"Honey!" Harper says as she lays next to her
"You and Daddy aren't in love anymore are you?" Aria says as a tear rolls down Harper's face
"Come on! Let's get some sleep" Harper says not quite sure how to answer that...
