Kelly and Harper have thought long and hard for their little girls name. They both know this is the last one however Harper knows a big secret that Kelly doesn't. They gather up the firehouse in the common room
"Why are you tell us her name already? Your only 15 weeks Harper" Dawson says as Harper smiles
"Thought we would do it early this time around" Harper says
"When are you due?" Casey asks
"Uhh 16th of May" Harper says holding back the tears
"Well what's her name then!" Dawson asks enthusiastically
"We thought long and hard about her name didn't we?" Kelly says looking at Harper
"Yeah after 4 of them names get quite hard" Harper says as she laughs
"So we would like you all to meet" Kelly says as he puts his hand on Harper's tummy
"Demi Shay Severide" Harper says as she smiles
Everyone cheers when they hear her name and Boden comes and gives Harper a big hug
"She would have loved to meet her" Boden says as he smiles
"I know" Harper replies
An hour passes and Dawson pulls Harper into the bathroom
"What's going on with you?" Dawson asks as she looks the door
"Huh? Nothing!" Harper replies
"Spit it out" Dawson says as Harper sighs
"There isn't going to be a baby" Harper says looking at the ground
"What do you mean?" Dawson asks
"My... Pregnancy hormone wasn't right, I'm going miscarry. That's why I wanted to do everything so early. Give her a chance in life before she's gone" Harper says as she puts her hand on her stomach
"Oh I'm so sorry honey" Dawson says as she pulls Harper in for a hug
"I want them to be wrong. Every part of me wants that. I want Maria to be a big sister! I want Hunter to be a big brother and protect his little sister! I've done everything right! I don't deserve this Gabby!" Harper says whilst sobbing
"I know honey, I know" Dawson says calmly
"I have to sit and wait for it to happen! There's nothing I can do! I'll never get to hold my little girl in my arms! I'll never get to see her meet her siblings for the first time! I won't be able to almost give birth in the back of truck again!" Harper shouts as Dawson pulls her close
"Your going to get through this okay? Because your Harper Freaking Severide! One of the baddest women I know!" Dawson says enthusiastically
"I just want my little girl Gabby, I don't want her to go up with shay" Harper says whilst sobbing
"At least shay will get to meet her honey" Dawson replies with a tear rolling down her face
