Harper freezes. She does this everyday yet she can't face seeing her own child like that. Dawson runs over to aria and checks her out
"She's bleeding internally" Dawson shouts as Harper looks at the blood pouring out of her 8 year olds mouth
"We need to get her to a hospital" Dawson shouts
"I heard some doctors from med were helping out! We can take her in our car!" Herrmann shouts
They all load up in the car but Harper hasn't moved
"Harper!" Kelly shouts as he hops out and drags her in
Dawson Is sitting with Aria in between her legs. Harper reaches out and holds arias hand
"Mummy's got you..Mummy's always got you" Harper says as she sobs
A short drive later they arrive at a hospital and are stunned to see Dr.Marcel working there
"What do we have?" He asks
"This is Aria...Severide" Dawson says as Dr.Marcel looks at Harper and Kelly
"She's bleeding internally but we don't know the cause" Dawson says as they rush away leaving Harper standing
"Take care of her...Please?" Harper mutters
Hours go by and Harper hasn't heard anything. She is sitting hand in hand with Kelly and the tears are streaming down her face
"That's my little girl! The first little girl to call me mum!" Harper says with a tear rolling down her face
"The first little girl who called me dad. Do you remember when she said dad for the first time?" Kelly asks
"Of course I do" Harper says
*Flashback*
It's a Sunday morning and Harper is making breakfast. Aria is 8 months old
"Here you go dad" Harper says as she hands him his plate
"D-D" Aria mutters
"That's it honey! Say dada!" Kelly says as he smiles at her
"No! Your not getting the first word! Can you say mama honey?" Harper says as she runs over to them
"Da" Aria mutters as Kelly gets overly excited
"Mama!" Harper says enthusiastically
"Dada" Aria says as Kelly laughs
"Finally!" Kelly says as he scoops aria up
*Present day*
"She's always been a daddy's girl" Harper says as the doctor comes out
He tells her that only one parent is allowed in so Harper goes in. Aria is lying awake but is clearly in pain
"Hey honey" Harper says as she strokes arias hair
"It hurts mummy" Aria says uncomfortably
"I know honey! I'm sorry" Harper says
"When will it stop hurting? When can I go to sleep? And be with uncle Cruz and Uncle Otis?" Aria says as Harper nearly breaks down
"Whenever your ready" Harper says with tears forming in her eyes
"Whenever I'm ready?" Aria asks weakly
"Yeah kiddo, I will always love you! No matter where you are! Your always going to be daddy's little princess" Harper says as she can hear beeping
Aria is not breathing and the room fills up with doctors. Harper walks out and slides down the wall just breaking down in tears....
