Chapter 50 - Old Friends

It's the end of shift. Harper hasn't spoken to anyone since the incident. She gets in her car and drives off
"I'm worried about her" Dawson adds
"I think everyone is" Casey says as they watch Harper dive off
Harper stops by the store and picks up some flowers. She then drives to her destination and starts to walk.
"Thought id bring you some flowers" Harper adds as she lays them next to Cruz's grave
Harper sits down next to him
"We miss you, I can't believe that's a year this month. Feels like you've been gone forever. Kelly's gone off the rails and I don't know what to do. He's been taking pills and is now under the care of Dr.Charles. I tried my best. I really did! The first thing you told me when I got with Kelly was to take care of him and I feel like I've failed you" Harper adds as the tears build up in her eyes
Harper puts a hand on his grave and suddenly she can't hold back the tears any longer
"I'm sorry Cruz! I really am! I know I need to be strong for Kelly and the kids but I just can't be! I need you back! I need your advice!" Harper yells whilst sobbing
"How did I know you'd come here?" Casey adds as he gets out his car
"I need my partner in crime once and a while" Harper adds looking at Casey with puffy, red eyes
"If your struggling you can tell me Harper" Casey adds softly as he sits down
"I want to be strong all the time I really do, i want to be super mom that doesn't let anything get in her way. I want to be that loving and caring wife who doesn't show any emotion yet here we are" Harper says as she runs a frustrated hand through her hair
"You are super mom! Your kids think your amazing! Aria thinks you can save anyone! And Kelly is so lucky to have you! He was a playboy shall we say before he met you. He literally slept with every girl he met! But then it all stoped when you came to 51! And look at you both! 12 years later and you have 4 kids! 2 range rovers! And a big ass house! You are amazing Harper! No body else would be able to pull that off!" Casey says enthusiastically as Harper smiles
"God I love you" Harper says as she hugs him
"I love you too! Your doing great Harper" Casey whispers as Harper smiles warmly

Whilst we're on a happy point in the book. I am so happy to announce that New Blood, One Family 5 will be coming out soon! I have so many more ideas for this story and it has been one hell of a ride! But this one will definitely be the last of the series! I can't thank you all enough for supporting me throughout this journey!
