Harper and Kelly haven't left arias side all night. They were meant to fly back to Chicago today but obviously can't
"Are you sure you don't wanna go with the kids?" Harper asks as she hands Kelly a coffee
"I'm sure, Dawson and Casey already said they would take them home" Kelly replies as he takes a sip of his coffee
"Are you sure there gonna be alright without us?" Harper asks as Dr.Marcel walks in
"Harper...Kelly" Dr.Marcel says in a worried tone
"What's wrong?" Harper asks
"Huh?" Dr.Marcel replies
"I know that tone! She's not gonna make it is she?" Harper asks as Kelly takes her hand
"Let him speak honey" Kelly says calmly
"Aria isn't progressing as much as we would like her to, unfortunately a decision has to be made" Dr.Marcel says dreading Harper's reaction
"You mean?" Harper says with tears in her eyes
"Yeah weather we take her off life support or not" Dr.Marcel says
Harper doesn't know what to say so she gets up and walks out. She passes Casey in a panic and he stops her
"Hey! Hey! Talk to me! What's going on" Casey says calmly
"I...I have to make a decision that I don't think I can make!" Harper says in a panic
"Okay, deep breaths. What decision?" Casey asks as he sits Harper down
"To turn arias life support off, I can't loose my little girl" Harper says as she breaks down in tears
"Come here" Casey says as he pulls her close
Meanwhile Kelly is trying to process everything when Dawson walks in
"I heard about the whole decision thing" Dawson says as she walks in
"I don't know what to do! I can't loose my best friend...Again" Kelly says as he looks at aria with tears in his eyes
"Come here you" Dawson says as he gives Kelly a long hug
It's later that day and Kelly and Harper have made the hardest decision of their life's. They have chosen to take aria off life support and are saying there goodbyes
"Hey princess" Harper says as she sits down on the edge of arias bed
Kelly walks out and gives her a minuet alone with Aria
"Oh honey, I'm going to miss you so much. I remember holding you in my arms for the first time and I'm going to hold you in my arms for the last time soon. Your still going to be my favourite character in my untold story. Don't cry so easily when your up there because mummy won't be there to comfort you or tell you it's going to be okay. I'm going to pass that job onto Uncle Otis and Uncle Cruz because I can't stand by your side anymore. I love you with every bone in my body Aria Severide" Harper says as Dr.Marcel walks in
"Its time" He says as Kelly walks in behind him
Harper takes aria and holds her in her arms like she is holding Aria for the first time while Kelly holds arias hand. Dr.Marcel then turns off the machine.....
