Second to clear some things up in the book alot of people have been saying stuff about being Italian in real life.... In the book you came from different seas than Alberto so your not Italian.
As for the beginning like you going to the costal waters with your grandma it's a different type of water than what you now live in... Not by the shore but in a different continent so your not LUCA it's just a coincidence that you both had a similar back story which is why your besties.
