CHAPTER 45

A/n's Pov

"Guys, I found the evidence!"

"Gosh, Jungkook you scared me!!" Jimin said and held his hand near to his chest very dramatically.

"Evidence? Did you say evidence!?" Hobi asked.

"Yes, remember the CCTV footage you gave me? I might have found something there." He said while looking at Minsoo and Jimin.

"Was Taecyeon there in the footage?" Minsoo asked curiously but was exchanged with a quite disappointed face Jungkook.

"Well- not really. I'm sure he was there but the branches of the tree covered the faces so I can't say that it was him." Minsoo and Jimin sigh loud which made Hobi look at them. After all that risk they found nothing.

"But that's not it. It was at least shown that Taehyung was pulled inside the house by two men. And their face was recognisable."

"That's a good thing right? We can show the video to the police and we'll go investigate them. Maybe they'll tell us who the real culprit is." Minsoo said which everyone agreed except Jungkook.

"No, it's not that simple. Those people might have been fed with a huge amount of money to shut their mouths. And who knows they might be dead already. Taecyeon is not a guy who leaves evidences everywhere without destroying it all. Even if it means to kill the person who witnessed it."

"We could at least try. Who knows we might find more that just that footage as evidence." Jimin said and Jungkook nodded.

"Yeah...we could give it a try. But this should not be known by anyone. Cause if Taecyeon knows about this, no one knows what might happen to you all." No one said anything after that and the room was quiet.

"Y/n hasn't returned yet right? She needs to know about it. She's the one who deserves to know more than any of us do." Minsoo said.

"When she comes back we'll tell her don't worry. As for now let's keep this amongst ourselves."

"But we can't trust the police as well. What if they are in this with that bastard?" Hobi said which did make sense.

"Don't worry. Taecyeon won't know anything about it. I have a friend who is the head Chief. He's a trusted man."

Y/n's pov.

"He's quite calm than before." I said while looking at Tae.

"Yes, he is.....quite the unusual." IU said while sipping her tea.

"Why do you think he's so quite? Is he fighting his evil desires by himself?"

Placing my hands on the glass I tried getting a look of his face. His back faced towards me and he was sitting quietly in the corner of the room.

"I think so. I mean you can see clearly the veins on his hands getting even darker and his hair is still as white as before. I'm afraid if we're too late he's not gonna make it." My eyes widened at IU's statement.

"Not gonna make it......" I whispered to myself. Just the thought of Tae not being well and alive makes me sick.

"If his spirit dies then there's no chance for him to come back to life." IU said bitterly.

"And I also found this information regarding cases like Taehyung's." IU said while looking at me.

"What information?"

"You see right now Taehyung's body is a shell without a soul. Sometimes when the soul seperates from the body, the body attracts the soul of someone similar to the original owner. It seems like something is trying to stop Taehyung from accepting another soul inside him. Or maybe.....he's just too unique." IU shrugged.

'Maybe he's unique.' I thought.

"We can still help him right? I- I can still help him right?"

"Yes you can, but if things goes wrong not only Taehyung will die, so will you. Are you ready to take that risk?"

"I promised him that I will bring him back. I will do it and come back alive. We both will." I said with my fist clenched tightly.

"You're confident. I like that." She chuckled.

"Then do it right. Don't let him control you as well but instead you convince him to come back." She held your shoulders and spoke with a serious tone. I nodded instantly which made her smile and stood back straight.

"We'll do this once those two come back." She said.

"Where are those two grim reapers?" I asked her.

"Running some errands for me."

A/n pov.

Minsoo was walking towards the convenience store to buy some needed supplies. She paid for her stuff and exit the store. She walked her way to the hospital because it wasn't far enough. But little did she know that she was being followed.

A car was slowly following her from behind and the person in the car smirked. He followed her until she reached the hospital.

He got out of the car and when he noticed that there were less people around he quickly grab her by her hand and covered her mouth, preventing her from screaming. Minsoo's eyes widened as soon as she saw who it was.

Jimin's pov.

We were waiting for Minsoo in Taehyung's room to get us the supplies. It's really suffocating sitting in the hospital for the whole day. Hobi was on his phone and I sigh and went to the bathroom.

Hobi's pov.

I heard the door unlocked from outside and Minsoo came in. I smiled at her but she didn't return back the smile. Something didn't feel right.

"You're back. You took so long to come, what were you doing-" I cut off my own words when I saw who was with her.

"You.." I said with a shaky voice and Minsoo stood stiff.

"Hello there my friend." Taecyeon was standing behind her with a gun against her side. Minsoo gulped in fear and mouthed a 'Sorry' to Hobi.

Oh shizz...what just happened? What will happen to Minsoo and the others? Taecyeon will definitely kill them!!
