The story about Cecilia

Chapter 8

Today was weird. Usually I spend my Saturdays in Yui's room and finding clues about why she's here but apparently the brothers wanted to hang out with me today. Reiji wanted to go over some school lessons with me, Ayato wanted to play some pool, Kanato wanted me to bake him some sweets, Laito wanted me to knit the fur back on his jacket, Shu just wanted to cuddle me, and Subaru wanted me to plant flowers with him.I could barely see Yui at all today. That is why I am currently working with her to spend the night. We haven't had a sleepover in a while, but today we will. I'm sure of it-
"Are you going to the Scarborough Fair?"
Where is that coming from?
"Parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme."
I think that's Kanato 
"Remember me, to one who lives."
I think it's coming from the balcony room. I open the door and low and behold its Kanato. 
"Oh, Cecilia...isn't it a nice night?" Kanato asked 
"Yes it is." I agreed sitting next to him in the ledge
"You know this is dangerous to be sitting up here." I informed
"You wear an expression of anxiety mingled with fear." Kanato said 
I'm actually deeply afraid of heights. I just thought sitting here would make you get down somehow and make me look cool but I can't tell you what so I'm saying it in my head. 
"It's very cute." Kanato said
That's relaxing 
"I actually hate it when you make that face." Kanato added, "it makes me worry why you're afraid of me."
"Are you sad when I'm afraid of you?" I asked 
"Yes." Kanato said
"I'm sorry. I've caused you so much sadness. I'll stop being afraid of you." I said smiling up a Kanato 
"You really don't have a clue... how conceited that makes you. You are incredibly foolish." Kanato chuckled, "it's so cute, it makes me laugh."
"Is it so wrong to care about your feelings?" I asked 
"I don't need your pity." Kanato declared 
"I didn't say pity, I said care. Do you need my care?" I asked 
Kanato stopped laughing for a moment and frowned. I noticed that he clutched his teddy tighter and his eyes darkened. Instead of lashing out he just said, "Do you want me to get down from here badly?" 
He avoided the question but I'll let it slide for now. Although I'm still curious. Even if he says no I'll always be there anyways whether he likes it or not. 
"Yes I do." I answered 
"Okay, then give me a kiss. If you give me a kiss I will be happy to come down." Kanato said, "If you can't do that then leave me alone and get lost." 
Kiss him? Should I? I don't want him to get hurt. What kind of human being would I be if I left him to die? A laugh brought me out of my thoughts.
"W...What?" I asked 
"You took it seriously!" Kanato laughed, "You really are hopelessly-" 
Before he could finish his sentence I grabbed his face and kissed him. Did he really make a fool out of me? I was actually worried about him and all he can do is tease me. The audacity. When I pulled away I was brought back in and pinned to the wall. 

Kanato has one hand on my hip and the other on my face while kissing me. He bit my lips coax me to open and forced his tongue in my mouth.
I've never done anything like this. My first kiss was taken just a week ago and now I'm tongue kissing. But I can't deny that this doesn't feel nice. His tongue is hot and velvety almost, it feels nice against mine. Kanato finally pulled back for a breather before kissing me again. After about a couple minutes Kanato finally stopped letting me breathe. The first thing I noticed was that Teddy was on the floor. 
"You dropped....Teddy." I pointed out while catching my breath 
"Looks like you have some use other to bake. You are also not as pathetic as before" Kanato said, "Anyways, there is a place I'm fond of. I would like to take you there to see it today." 
With that he picked up Teddy and teleported us somewhere. He opened the door and I was immediately greeted by women and death. I could see and feel the death of this room. It was red like blood and glowing. 
"What are these?" I asked 
"As you can see, they are 0wax figures." Kanato informed
Liar. They were once real people. They had families and now they are stuck here.
"You don't look like you're enjoying it much." Kanato pointed out 
"They look so real..." I said
"You would be beautiful as one of these wax figures." Kanato said, "Would you like to become a figure here and now?"
I just stayed silent waiting to see what he would say next. 
"I would keep you displayed so carefully and it would make Teddy so happy to have a new friend. It's would be a win-win situation. What do you say?"
"Kanato, do you remember my question from before?" I asked 
"Huh?"
"I asked you if you wanted me to care for you. Can you answer that for me?" 
"Why would I want a lousy mortal to take care of me?"
"Because I know how to."
Kanato stayed didn't answer and stay silent 
"I want to care for you. I want to be less pathetic in your eyes and be something better. But I can only do that if I'm alive." I confessed 
"You don't want to be a figure?" Kanato asked 
"No I don't. I wanna be by your side." I confirmed 
"Are you not scared of the figures in the room? Of me?" Kanato asked 
"Yes I'm desperately afraid but I won't back down. I dislike what you did to these girls and I despise you for it but I'm willing to try to look past that cause what's done is done. Just please don't kill me" I begged 
 Before Kanato could say something,someone came in. 
"Kanato!" Ayato called, "Reiji wants to see you."
Kanato gave me one last look and left.
My knees buckled but was Luckily catches by Ayato. 
"Ayato...Thank you." I said 
Ayato didn't say anything except for standing me up right and walking away 
"I'm too tired for this." Ayato sighed 
Instead of chasing after him I left as well to my room. On the way to my room I started to think things over. 
Kanato is murderer who am I kidding there all murderers. All of them killed someone and yet I'm here sympathizing with them. Why? Why am? I need some answers. I opened my door and saw Yui. 
"Yui? What do you need?" I asked 
"Subaru told me something today,He said us to go and that this is our chance to leave this place." Yui said 
"Oh...Do you want to leave?" I asked 
"No, I want to learn the truth..I'm sorry for being selfish when you have done so much for me which is why I'm asking you to leave without me." Yui said 
I stared shocked at her words. She wants me to leave without her? Like hell, I would never leave her alone. Not ever. 
"No-" 
"You'll suffer more if you stay here. Please leave...I beg you." Yui interrupted 
"But I don't want to leave..." I said
Wait what? Why did I say that? I thought that I wanted to leave since we got her. Maybe it's because Yui isn't leaving as well or is it because of something more? All I know is that I want to stay and I have no idea why. 
"I'm staying and that's final. We are sisters, I will never leave you behind." I declared 
All Yui did was tear up and cry on my shoulders begging me to leave. But I already made my decision. I will solve my new wonder. Why do I want to stay?

"Subaru?" I called 
"You're still here?" He asked, "You and Yui wasted a rare opportunity."
"Do you know anything about Yui or her father? If so, please tell me. If we get another rare opportunity and Yui gets her answer then she gets the hell out of this place, so please tell me." I pleaded, "I was told Yui was offered as a sacrifice by the church.
"I know nothing." Subaru responded 
He then looked at me for the first time since the conversation started and looked like he had seen a ghost. He suddenly stood up and gave me a knife.
"That silver knife can be used to kill vampires like us with a stab to the heart." Subaru stated
When I touched the middle of the jem I pushed into another vision 

Take this with you. Keep it on your person at all times. I need you to commit murder. Please, for me? Let me go. If you become certain, plunge this knife squarely in the heart. You're such a gentle boy.

It was of another women. She had white hair like Subaru's and golden eyes. She was his mother I could tell. Subaru looked sad in the vision. Like he wanted to die. 
"Too bad I won't be needing this knife anytime soon." I replied
I was going to give it back but after the vision I saw I thought it would be best to keep hold of it. I walked away and headed to my bedroom. 
When I entered I was greeted by Laito. 
"Little Bitch, you kept me waiting." Laito said 
"Laito what do you want?" I asked
"What is it? Why the face?" Laito asked 
"Get out..." I sighed 
"Are you serious about that, Little Bitch?" Laito asked, "Hey, that's Subaru's knife."
He then grabbed my hand with the knife and placed it by his heart. 
"What an honor! I never knew how much you loved me." Laito exclaimed, "To a vampire, murder is the ultimate way to confess your love. You hold the finality that can end the life of an immortal." 
Laito looked deeply into my eyes and asked, "Do you know how it feels to love someone so much that you hate them?" 
Laito pinned me against the wall roughly and said, "What all is said and  done, you and I are very much alike. Your hot blood speaks to me with it's delicious aroma." 
I stared blankly at the man in front of me speechless. I had no words or insults to say back. 
"It knows that you want me." Laito whispered in my ear
He leaned down and went to bite me but I spoke up.
"You Idiot." I said
Laito was shocked at my words and leaned back.
"Murder as a sign of love? That's ridiculous if you kill someone out of love you would be lonely and sad. It's idiotic just like you!" I shouted, "If you love someone so much that you hate them then stop loving them. If they drive you to the point that you hate them then find someone new. I do not care just stop torturing yourself over petty love that you don't even want!" 
Laito backed away stunned. He looked at me with wide eyes and then started to laugh. 
"What are you laughing at?" I asked almost on tears
"I never met a girl like you, Little Bitch." Laito commented, "I was only interested in your blood, but now I've changed my mind."
