At 4 am when Alexis' alarm clock rang, she woke up and ran to her shower. Alexis wasn't an early bird so she needed a cold shower to be fully awake and aware. Before leaving her apartment to reach the airport she drank her favourite drink; a warm coffee. Bologna was the closest airport from Maranello, she drove her Ferrari to get there. She was listening to some music when someone called her, Alexis couldn't read he name on her phone screen.
"Hey" She said a bit usure, like who can call her at 4 am
"Hey princess! All good?" Alexis instantly recognized Lando's sleepy voice
"Fine and you? Are you in the plane already?" Alexis was glad to hear his voice
"Quite good, exited to see you! Uhm, I'm at the airport right now the plane takes of in thirty minutes. We should board soon; did you work late yesterday?" Alexis could hear that Lando was exited but wanted to hide it a bit; since he might be with some McLaren dudes.
"I left the factory at 10 pm; I was in my apartment at 10:30pm. To be honest I was a bit tired this morning, but I can't wait to see you and have some great time with you!" Alexis was exited as well; for now Lando was her favourite human on earth
"I imagine I saw this morning your text from 11:45 pm; I hope you didn't wait for my response?" Lando was a bit worry, he wanted Alexis to have a healthy lifestyle.
"I felt asleep directly after, so no worry about that." Alexis wanted to reassure him
"Great, also I noticed that you are now an official papaya fan! I appreciate that very much." Lando chuckled
"Va piano lil Lando; for now Forza Ferrari!" Alexis said with enthusiasm
"We will see what you will say next year! By the way, I will let for you an envelope at the desk of the hotel with my room's key. I will say that it's for you, just ask for it; it will be easier if you have your own key."
"Perfect, thanks for that Lando; I will take care of your key!"
"Yeah, consider it as our first child!" Lando laughed
"Well real kids ask more attention and work; but fine I will do it for you!" Alexis laughed as well
"I need to hang up Alexis, we are now boarding. Have a nice trip to .... To Bahrein" Alexis could hear Daniel voice in the background, probably messing up with Lando "Take care of you..." Lando started laughing for no reason "Take care of you princess, see you tonight!" Lando was giggling
"Be careful Lando, I want to see you alive tonight! Oh, and say I to Daniel from me, I know he is here!" Alexis chuckled
"Yeah, Daniel is annoying!" Lando say it quite loudly to be sure that his teammate heard him "Anyway, can't wait to see you princess! I miss you so badly!" Lando was now more serious
"I miss you too Lando, I'm counting the hours now before seeing you!"
"Bye Alexis, see you!"
"Bye Lando!"
Alexis parked her car in the parking of the airport, she took her luggage out of the boot and said bye to her baby. Once she got in the hall, she found the whole Ferrari cru; she walked in Alessandro's direction but before she arrived next to him someone grab her shoulder.
"Alexis, I have a question about the rear wing arrangement for the weekend. Are you sure the one for Carlos is right?" Alexis wasn't fully awake and Giulia asking her important questions like that in the morning wasn't her cup of tea.
"Hi Giulia! Uhm, I talked with Carlos to understand what he was looking for and we decided that this arrangement was the one which fit him better. But if he changed his mind no problem to change it." Alexis tried to be clear and precise
