Part 29

When the plane started landing Lando began gently waking up Alexis, who slept the whole flight; Lando who was seating next to the window was amazed seeing the landscapes.

"I know someone who is going to be jet lagged as fuck." Lando said with a smile

"What time is it?" Alexis asked rubbing her eyes

"6 pm, and we still need to take a taxi to go to our lodge." Lando said fixing Alexis

"Wait I slept the whole flight?" Alexis questioned stretching

"9 hours out to 10, so I guess the answer is yes." Lando said chuckling

"Anyway, you know how much I love sleeping so it won't be a problem for me to fall asleep tonight." Alexis said with a smile, Alexis and Lando left the plane and wait in the airport to get their luggage; while waiting for them to arrive on the carrousel Alexis placed her head on Lando's shoulder.

"You are still tired after your long sleep?" Lando questioned staring at her

"No, but I like being in this position especially when it's your shoulder." Alexis smiled

"Then you are allowed to stay in that position." Lando said kissing her top head, they stay a few minutes like that before seeing their luggage arriving on the carrousel. Lando took his then Alexis' one and then they left the airport to get a taxi to left the city and reached their lodge in the savannah.

"Do we have something plan for tonight?" Alexis asked while contemplated the landscapes

"Yes we have." Lando said contemplating as well, the rest of the drive was silence since the two were amazed by the places they were driving through. Once they arrived at the place they were staying, a Maasai took their luggage and walked them to their lodge; it was wooden made, there was a room and a bathroom but the most impressive was the view from the little balcony.

"Wow Lando, this is so beautiful; I'm speechless." Alexis said admiring the view standing next to Lando; Lando placed his hand around her waist and pulled her closer to him

"Nothing to compare with you Alexis." Lando said fixing the view

"Don't be stupid muppet, this view... I don't know, I can stay like that for the rest of my life." Alexis was hypnotized with the landscape. "My mum always dreamt to have a farm in Africa, I thought it was crazy; but with time, I realized how perfect this place is to have a house."

"So you see yourself having a life here?" Lando gently asked

"As a vacation home at first; and then maybe more as a full-time residence. Just imagine growing up surrounded by this nature, by peace and being free." Lando started smiling

"You imagine yourself with kids running around this place?" Lando asked still smiling

"Running, laughing, smiling; resting under this acacia." Alexis showed the tree with her head "Living a real life and not a fake one via social medias and stuffs like that." There was a silence and then "How do you see yourself later?"

"This is a taught question. I see myself with kids, living in a house with a huge garden; I want to avoid as soon as I can the city."

"Like Horner's house?" Alexis asked

"I've never been to his home so I don't know, seems that we don't have strong relations as you do." Lando said a bit confused

"The one we see in Drive to Survive." Alexis smiled

"Makes sense, and yes something like that." Lando smiled "But it's hard to plan everything perfectly, I want life to surprised me..."

"Look! There is a gazelle over there!" Alexis softly interrupted Lando and pointed the animal who was running across the savannah. The two started following the animal with their gaze "Splendid."
