Third Person's POV
The sun was slowly setting after the event, the wind was passing them by, and riches shone in their eyes .
He had complete control over his own consciousness, therefore he gently opened his eyes as the sunset touched his closed eyes.
"Oh, you've woken up."
During the trip, he noticed his partner gazing at the valuables they had captured while their adversaries were battling Mars.
Mars did not say anything since he is perplexed as to how he ended up here when the last thing he remembered is being blasted away by the wind and striking the wall with shards of swords pinning him.
He saw the look on her face just before he passed out, the same one she had given them the day he pushed her away.
"That woman is a nice person, and you noticed how gorgeous she is, right fellas?" Lotus stated, and even asked of the injured guys behind them.
They all nodded while Mars is still digesting what they're saying. 'A woman?' he wondered, and suddenly a picture of a girl with (h/c) hair and piercing red eyes flashed before his eyes.
"(Y/n)?" Mars inquired, and Lotus smiled and nodded.
Lotus calling a 15-year-old girl a woman is unexpected since Lotus is known to be full with ridiculous emotions and yet he acknowledges the reality that (Y/n) is more than simply a fighter but a woman with knowledge and power.
"As you can see, she brought you with us while you were unconscious, despite the fact that we were our enemies with them, she had yet allowed her pleasant attitude to take over her— " Lotus stopped as he pondered the appropriate words.
"Someday, her demeanour will be the source of her downfall." Mars' chest tightened as those words came out of Lotus' mouth, simply thinking about their once buddy falling for her own death...
But that's not going to happen.
