I shook on it.

Bill laughed and I instantly knew I made a dumb mistake.

Bill shot a fireball at me and dropped Mabel's limp body. "Well played, Pine Tree. But I think you forgot one teeny, tiny thing in our deal."

"What's that?" I asked, my voice shaking slightly.

"You never said anything about keeping her safe after I'm done with you."

"What?" I said. "You can't do that!"

"Sure I can," Bill said. He grabbed the front of my shirt and he pulled me into the mindscape.

~Dipper's POV~

"My brother."

I stared wide eyed at the six fingered man in front of me. He was almost the mirror image of Stan, except he looked younger.

He didn't say anything. Stan slowly stood up. "Long time no see, eh?"

His brother didn't smile. Something had happened between the two of them. I wonder what it could be?

"Stanford," Grunkle Stan said. "It was a mistake. We shouldn't have e made such a dumb risk-"

Suddenly, Stan's brother, Stanford , grabbed Stan into a hug. Stan hugged him back.

Mabel smiled wide at me. I didn't return it. How could she do that to me? I thought she trusted me! After all the things Stan did, she trusted him over me?!

I turned away from her with my hands in my pockets. The corners of my eyes burned from tears that sat there, waiting to fall. I refused to let them. I just felt so...betrayed. All summer, I've told Mabel everything, given her my full trust and how does she repay me? She completely ignores me and trusts the man that might have been a dangerous criminal!

The journal told me to trust no one. I heeded that advice all summer, only trusting the person closest to me: Mabel.

Now Stan had a brother who was also the author of the journals. Probably out Grandpa. I should've been excited about it. I've been trying to solve this mystery all summer, and now... I don't even care. Why should I care? Not if the person I wanted to share all this with doesn't trust me.

Stan and Stanford finally let go. Stan turned to us. "Kids, this is my twin brother, Stanford ." He turned back to his brother. "Ford, these are your grandkids."

Stanford's eyes wided. "G-grandkids?"

Stan sighed. "You've missed a lot."

Stanford nodded. He walked over to us. Mabel smiled and ran into him to give him a hug. I could tell he was surprised, but accepted it with open arms.

I walked over to him. He ruffled my hair and I faked a smile so I didn't make him feel bad. Just yesterday, I'd be flipping through my journal and getting it in his face and demanding answers, but I'm not. The mystery's over I guess. Our grandpa can tell us when he wants to. I'll be patient and wait for him to tell us on his own time.

So this'll kinda be a violent fan fic
Like not too violent, but just a little
And I'm not sure if Stan's brother is named Stanley or not. I might have to go back and change it later, but just read it as that for now
Oh, yeah, this is just my idea of what happened after Not What He Seems!
These are my ideas! Please don't steal them!
(Okay, I understand that some people might have already came up with an idea similar, but I haven't read anything else like this!)

Okay, so now it's August 20 something of 2015 and this was written before a Tale of Two Stans, so this has a bunch of mistakes like that in it. And, I'm warning you, it's pretty inconsistent. Also, a bunch of spelling and grammar errors. But I hope you can see past all of that because I worked really hard on this story. And some of these comments are hilarious!
Okay, thanks!
