~Dipper's POV~

I knew I was conscious, but I didn't want to open my eyes. If felt like something had fried my brain. There was also a constraint drumming in my head. Something was bothering me, but I didn't know what exactly.

I heard someone talking, but I couldn't make out who it was or what they were saying. The pounding in my head was getting worse. Something was clouding my thoughts. I felt deep agony inside, but I couldn't figure out why.

When it almost came unbearable, it stopped. My head still pounded, but less now. I slowly opened my eyes.

I was in my bed. The light was shining through the window, mocking my agony. But why? Why did I feel so defeated and angry at myself? Had I done something wrong? Did someone get hurt because of me?

I sat up, but as soon as I did, I felt a stab of pain in my side and a mix of nausea along with it. I leaned over my bed and puked over the side whatever I had in my body, which wasn't much.

When I was done, I leaned back down. My stomach growled at me and my throat burned. I was sick. Perfect.

When my stomach finally settled again, I could think clearly. Where was Mabel? She usually helped me when I was sick. I'd even take Grunkle Stan! Anything but being alone.

What had happened last night? I tried to remember, but I couldn't. I knew Bill was there, and my family. But, how was I home? Why wasn't I still in that cave, I mean, not that I'm complaining or anything.

Suddenly, the memory of last night crashed down on me. The portal, Bill, Mabel...

I shot out of bed, ignoring the pain from hunger and everything else. I barely glanced at Mabel's bed, wishing all this was just a nightmare of some kind. Of course it wasn't.

I opened the door. All clear. I made my way down the stairs and ran right into someone. They grabbed the back of my shirt and held me up to look them in the eyes.

I struggled to get loose of his grip, or more importantly, my grip. Demon me was back. I gritted my teeth. "Let me go!"

"Where do you think you're going?" He asked.

"To get something to eat," I said. "I'm starving!"

"Bill told me to make sure you don't leave your room."

"But I'll starve!" I shot back. "I wouldn't be much use to Bill dead, now would I?"

"I'll bring you something to eat," Demon me said. "I'm just following orders."

I crossed my arms as he floated me up the stairs. My stomach growled again. It felt like my digestion system would start to eat itself if I didn't get something to eat fast.

Demon me dropped me on the floor in my room as if I were a rag doll. "I'll be right back." And with that, he shut the door and I heard the lock click. I sighed and stood up. My legs were shaking under me. I shut my eyes and clutched my stomach. I doubled over, but there was nothing left to hurl. I took deep breaths. What did Bill do to me?

~Bill's POV~

Pine Tree fell to the ground. I smiled. No one could stop me now. All I needed to do was get rid of Stanford and the author then everything would fall into place. I grabbed Pine Tree by the back of the shirt and smiled. He looked so helpless.

I turned to my minion, who had just regained his body. "Go put him in his room. And make sure he doesn't leave. I have some unfinished business to attend to."

My minion nodded. He grabbed Pine Tree and floated off with him. I smiled down at my human form. Ah, just like I remembered it.

With new power surging in my veins, getting rid of the other two would be a snap.

Then, after they were out of the way, I could finally move on with my plan to finally get rid of Pine Tree once and for all.

The elevator dinged behind me. I didn't need to turn around to know it was Stan and the author.

"Nice to see you again," I said, not turning around.

"What did you do with my niece and nephew, Cipher!" Stan said. Boy, he sounded angry. I wonder why that could be...

I turned and faced them. "I'd be lying if I said they were fine," I said with a smile.

Stan clenched his hands. "If you hurt them, I swear-"

"Oh, drop it old man. You know I'm more powerful than you by a long shot!"

A fist came flying at me, but I dodged it. I flung a fireball in their direction. I smirked. "You can't stop me. I'm more powerful than ever!"

Someone grabbed me in a headlock. I gritted my teeth and grabbed the arm. I shot a ball of pure energy up it. The owner screamed in pain. I turned and kicked him in the chest. It was the author. He fell hard.

I turned back to Stan. "I got rid of your little Shooting Star. As for Pine Tree, I've got some different plans for him."

Stan ran over and, quick as lighting, punched me in the face. I almost laughed. I forgot that I could feel pain in this body now. "Keep trying, Gramps. You can't stop a demon."

I grabbed him by the collar and threw his ontop of his brother. I smiled and switched on the machine. "It's been nice to know you," I said. "But I've got bigger plans that you don't need to ruin!"

The author and Stan tried to escape the machine's pull, but they couldn't. It was too strong. "Say hi to Shooting Star for me!" I called as they were sucked in.

Phase two done.

I went upstairs and found my minion watching tv. "I have to go find something. Don't let Pine Tree leave the house, got it?"

"Yes sir," my minion said.

I walked out the door, playing with my new powers. Gravity Falls didn't stand a chance.
