Chapter 25

~Reverse Bill's POV~

Oh, what have I gotten myself into?

Bill wants me to capture the girl or kill her! I can't do that! B-but if I don't, I'll be the one in trouble. Tears pooled up in my eyes. I already felt sorry for the poor girl and I was still in the mindscape!

"Go!" Bill yelled.

I winced and jumped out of the mindscape, shaking. Find the girl, and you can go home.

I changed back into my human form and I walked down the street, jumping at every noise and person walking by. No one really payed me any attention. As a demon, I naturally blended into the background, not invisible, but unnoticeable. Like the Tardis in that one Doctor what's his face show on BBC. I would appear as a normal teen walking down the street. In reality, I was terrified.

I was sure I was lost until I saw a young girl running down the street. She looked just like her brother. I swallowed and turned myself into a demon. This was the only way I wouldn't attract attention. I flew over to the girl and snatched her by the collar. She started to scream but I put my hand over her mouth. "Imsorryimsorryimsorry!" I kept saying under my breath, tears falling from my eye.

I teleported her back into the mindscape and let her go. She screamed and it hurt. "P-please!" I begged. "Please stop."

She didn't hear me. "B-Bill? What the heck are you doing blue?"

I winced. "Nevermind that. You have to come with me."

She folded her arms. "I don't have to do anything! Now let me go."

"I-I'm so sorry. I can't."

"Can't? I think you mean won't! What are you gonna do to me this time? Torture me? Kill me? Drive me insane?"

"I'm not the Bill you're thinking of," I said.

"What do you mean? You're not the Bill from this dimension, are you?"

I turned human. "Not from this one. But I am from a different dimension."

She sighed loudly. "How many more of you are there?"

I shrugged. "P-please, I don't want to hurt you, b-but you're needed elsewhere."

She stood up. "No. He can't take me again!" She tried to run past me, but I grabbed her. "No! Let me go! I need to save Dipper!"

Tears pooled up in my eyes once again. "I'm sorry," I whispered. Then I teleported back to Bill.

~Dipper's POV~

"Mabel!" I yelled, seeing my sister in the hands of Bill.

"I've got big plans for you two," Bill said.

I didn't want to listen to Bill at the moment. I knew my sister was in danger and I had to save her! "Don't worry, Mabel," I yelled to her. I started running towards her. "Everything's going to be okay."

"Oh, Pine Tree, why do you even try? You know you're sister's in danger, but who's the cause of it, me or you?"

"I'd never hurt Mabel," I said, stopping right in front of him.

"Oh? After everything she's done to you? Annoying you, betraying you, wishing you were normal-"

"I never said that!" Mabel said, struggling against the demon's grip. "Dipper, don't believe anything this insane dorito says!"

"Oh, yeah, nothing, eh? Well, what if I tell you that you're brother has told me things. Things he shouldn't have. When he wasn't entirely sane."

"What do you mean?" Mabel asked. "He's not insane, he's perfectly normal."

"H-he's talking about me," said a voice behind me. It was my Demon clone. He had tears shining in his eyes. "And that's not the Bill that you know."

"Oh, shut up Pine Tree," the human demon said. He tried to hit Dipper with his powers, but he ducked and they just missed him. I  could almost see his fear turning into anger.

"No, I won't shut up," Dipper said. He had a fire in his eyes, probably the same look I got on my face when I was determined. "I've let you pick on me and practically try to kill me for a year now and you've got me to say some pretty bad things and my deepest secrets. Now, all I'm wishing is that you didn't turn me immortal. Then I could be free from you once and for all."

I knew what he was talking about even before Bill said anything.

"Ha! You don't have the guts to kill yourself, kid," Bill said.

"I would, after what you've made me do." Tears pooled up in Dipper's eyes. "You made me kill everyone I care about! You've caused me so much pain and sorrow, I wouldn't hesitate to pull a trigger or take a knife to the heart!" Tears were slipping down his cheeks now. "You've turned me into some sort of heartless...monster. Just like yourself."

"I think I liked you better when you had no idea who you were."

"And I wouldn't mind taking you down with me," Dipper said.

I touched his arm. "Dipper..."

He wiped his nose with the back of his hand. "I- I'm sorry." I'm just so done with this crap!

I know.

If I can escape, then I'll go to the council. I can easily get them to kill me, then Bill will be gone too.

I can't just let you give yourself up!

This is what I want, Dipper. Please.

I looked into his sad, broken, golden eyes. Please...

I gulped, not sure what to say. I-

No, you can't say anything to talk me out of this. You're either going to help me, or ignore me.

I'm not sure what sparked it, or why it happened, but suddenly, Dipper looked a little more human. Then I noticed his eyes had turned brown again.

You're eyes! I exclaimed.

At the same moment, his eyes widened. What? No, you're eyes.

You're eyes are back to normal!

Well, I think I know where they went. He was staring straight into my eyes and I knew what he was talking about.

Oh no.

Oh no's right. You're turning into me.

At that moment, just for a second, something red flashed over Dipper's face. I blinked, not sure what it was.

You'll get used to it, he said sadly.

It was at that moment, when I was become the demon. And it all started with the golden glow of my eyes.
