~Mabel's POV~

"Dipper!" I yelled, my voice hoarse.

The sun was going down and we've been in these woods all day. Still no sign of him or Bill.

My eyes were filled with tears that I refused to let fall. Stan put his arm around me. "Come on, sweetheart," he said. "We have to get home before dark."

"No!" I said. "We have to keep looking."

"We'll find him," Stan said. "Tomorrow. No need getting lost in the woods. If we do, there'll be no way to save your brother."

I wiped away a stray tear. "Grunkle Stan...I'm sorry."

I kicked him, hard, where it hurts. Then I ran off into the woods.

I'm coming Dipper! Don't worry!

~Dipper's POV~

I opened my eyes to a dim light.

My head was pounding and cold. I sat up, holding my head. "W-where am I?"

"Ah," said a voice. "You're awake."

I glared at Bill. "What do you need me for?"

"Stuff."

I hugged my knees. At least Mabel's safe.

"Okay, Pine Tree. Let's get down to buisness. I heed a human body-"

"No way!" I said. "You're not possessing me again!"

Bill rolled his eyes, er, eye. "Calm down, Pine Tree. If I wanted to possess you, I would've already done it. Doing the same thing over and over again is just cliché."

"Then what do you need?" I asked.

"An ally."

"Ha, good luck with that," I said, crossing my arms. "Why would I ever ally with you?"

"I can get rid of that author for you," Bill said, holding up my journal.

"Give it back!" I tried to grab it.

Bill pulled it away so it was out of reach. "That author caused all the trouble, didn't he? If it wasn't for him, your sister might trust you right now. If you become my ally, we can fight him off together."

"No," I said. "He's still family."

"Would family put everyone in danger just to get his way?" Bill asked. "Wasn't there a chance of the world exploding? I know what Stan and his brother have been talking about. They're thinking about sending you and your sister packing. The author's manipulating your uncle. They need you two out of the way to complete their master plan."

I swallowed. Bill did have a point...

"No," I said. "Family helps family."

Bill shrugged. "Suit yourself. I didn't want it to have to come to this, but I guess just asking you nicely won't work. I'll give you one more chance to do it the easy way."

I bit my lip. Hopefully I wasn't making too big of a mistake. "Hit me with your best shot."

Bill crossed his arms. "Fine. Here comes the hard way."

~Mabel's POV~

"Dipper!" I shouted for the hundredth time. It was night now and I flipped on my electric sweater. I'd looked in caves, in clearings, up in trees, everywhere! And still no sign of him or Bill.

I sat on a boulder and buried my head in my hands. "I'm sorry Dipper," I whispered. "I didn't mean to make you angry with me. I just thought I was doing the right thing..."

My voice died as I sobbed.

I heard a muffled yell. I froze.

I thought it was just my imagination, until I heard it again.

"Dipper?"

One more.

"Dipper!"

I ran towards the source of the sound.

I found myself at the entrance of a big cave. There was another yell. "Don't worry Dipper! I'm coming!"

I ran through the mouth of the cave.

The first thing I saw was Bill. He had a manic look to him. Well, when didn't he?

Then I spotted Dipper. He had tears running down his cheeks and he was holding his head. He was curled up in a ball.

"Leave him alone!" I said, crossing my arms.

"And why would I want to do that?" He closed his fist and Dipper screamed.

"Stop! You're gonna kill him!"

"No I won't," Bill said. "I'm just trying to change his mind."

He unclenched his fist and Dipper went limp, breathing heavily.

"Please! I need him!"

"He's with me now. We had a deal."

"Well...how about I change the deal. You can have me and let him go."

"Hm," Bill thought about it. "I can have either Pine Tree, who's easier to manipulate and has a stronger will, or I can have Shooting Star, who will be harder to manipulate but easier to break...such a hard decision."

I couldn't tear my eyes from Dipper. He had tears flowing down his cheeks. He was in so much pain, but he'd never give in.

"Fine," Bill said. "I'll take you. If you become my trustworthy servant. You will not run away. You with not cry for help. You'll do as you're told."

I had tears forming in the corners of my eyes. "You have my word."

"Shake on it," Bill said, lighting up his hand.

I shook it.

"Mabel..." Dipper muttered weakly. "...no..."

"I'm sorry Dipper. I have to."

Bill waved him hand. "He'll be safe now. As for you..."

I gulped. At least Dipper's safe.

Whoops, sibling feels.

Question: Does anyone know any good cartoons to watch?
I've already seen Gravity Falls (obviously), Over the Garden Wall, Danny Phantom, what's out of Star Vs. The Forces of Evil, and Star Wars Rebels.

And I don't watch Anime. I tried watching Attack on Titan, but it wasn't my thing.

Thanks!

Update:

I love Anime now. You can suggest anime as long as it's not sexual or realistic gore.
