~Mabel's POV~

I heard a beeping, like in the hospital. That was weird. How'd I get here?

I opened my eyes to a white ceiling, walls and sheets. It hurt my eyes because I wasn't used to it. It also had that hospital smell, if you know what I mean. What happened anyway? If I was in a hospital, then where was the rest of my family. I surely thought Dipper would-

Oh. Right.

Dipper wasn't here. He was on the other side of the portal. But, where was I?

A door slid open and a nurse walked in. "Hello. I'm glad to see that you're awake. You've been out for about three days."

My mouth fell open. "Three days?"

The nurse walked over to me and gently pushed me down. "Don't worry, you're safe now. You'll be out in no time."

"But, what's wrong with me?" I asked.

"You fractured your left arm." I looked down at the cast. "Don't worry," the nurse was saying. "We already used a medication so it should be fixed in no time. If you need anything, just call."

I heard the door shut again. Okay, I must be in some weird, future universe. It doesn't take a few days for a bone to be fixed. I glanced at my side table. It had a bunch of different buttons on it. Most were food, but others had names on them. I ignored it and sat up again. The room was pretty much empty. I had to get out of here.

I moved to get out of the bed, but suddenly white hot pain shot up my arm. I let out a cry and squeezed my eyes shut. Well, there goes that plan, I thought, slowly laying back down.

The door opened again. "There's someone here to see you," the nurse said.

I could barely even wonder what she meant by that, when a boy walked in. He was wearing some sort of black suit. He had a top hat on and a cane. His hair was blond with brown underneath it like it was dyed. "M-Mabel?"

~Dipper's POV~

I was sick for the next few days. My clone only came in to give me food and let me use the bathroom. I felt like I was getting worse each day.

Finally, Bill came back. What he was doing, don't ask me. I tried to ask him, but he simply waved his hand, saying that it wasn't important.

Bill dragged me out of bed. My stomach had just started to feel better, but now it was coming back. I doubled over a puked.

"Yeash, Pine Tree. Don't you know your suppose to run to a trash can or toilet or something."

"Shut up...Bill," I gasped out. I felt another wave of nausea, but I held it in.

Bill teleported us out in the middle of the woods. "Let's have a little talk."

"About what?" I asked, pretty sure I wouldn't like the answer.

"Oh, just about how you're doing, your past, present, future, your sister, your family, your inner demonic powers, that you're never gonna get married-"

"Wait, did you say Inner Demonic Powers?" I asked.

A smile crept on Bill's face. "Yes. I did."

"What are you talking about? I'm just a normal kid. I don't have any sort of demon powers inside me."

"Sure you do," Bill said. "Right now, we're speaking in Demofraen, the demon language."

"What? No. I'm speaking English," I said. "I don't even know what Demofraen sounds like."

"Fine. Concentrate and then listen to me and try to answer in English."

I nodded. I closed my eyes in concentration.

":@, 697 7,$34#@,$ ?3 ,92."

"63@* /75 5*@5 2@# 3,&(8-"

My eyes popped open. "What did I just say?"

"Nevermind," Bill said with a grin. "It's time to test your powers. I've just figured out that you had them."

"How?" I asked.

"When you we're trying to make a deal with me in that cave, you know, when you were trying to save your life, I saw that Little Dipper on your head glow."

"M-my birthmark?" I touched my forehead. "But that's impossible!"

"Anything's possible when you can alter time and the mind," Bill said with a smirk. "Now, to try those abilities..."

~Mabel's POV~

"M-Mabel?"

The boy looked at me. He was shocked or something. He practically floated over to me. I looked down at his feet and relics that he was floating, about and inch or two off the ground.

The boy gently touched my face with a shaking hand. "Oh, Mabel. I thought you were gone!"

"Um, I'm sorry, but, erm, who are you, exactly?"

The boy's face fell. "I knew it. He whispered. "I knew it was too good to be true!"

"Hey, I'm sorry," I said. "I didn't mean to upset you."

He turned towards me. I looked in his eyes. They were tinted yellow. "No, no," he said. "It's just...nevermind."

"You sound familiar. What's your name?"

"Oh, well, erm, I can't exactly say. I only know what my master told me, and he always calls me Pine Tree."

"Pine Tree?" I asked. "Your master's Bill?"

The boy's eyes widened. "Shh! You can't say his name like that!"

"Why?" I asked.

"Because-"

He was cut off by a blinding flash of yellow in the middle of the room. The dorito demon himself appeared there. "Shooting Star? That's impossible! You're suppose to be dead!" He turned to the boy, who had his arms over his head and was whimpering in the corner. "And you. How many times have I told you that you can't just go walking around! You're too dangerous, Pine Tree."

Bill clenched his fist and the boy withered in pain with a scream. "You'll get a lot worse when we get home. But for now," he turned towards me. "How are you alive? You're brother here killed you himself."

My eyes shot to the boy on the ground. "D-Dipper?"

The boy, Dipper, slowly let his arms slip off his head. "D-Dipper?"

"Don't listen to her, Pine Tree. She doesn't know what she's talking about."

"No!" I said. "You're Dipper, my brother. Remember, Mystery Twins?"

His face lit up. "Yeah!" Then his face fell when he saw Bill. "B-but he made me lose my mind. I-I...No, he made me kill you."

"But wait," I said. "I fell through this portal-"

Bill snapped. "Aha! A dimension jumper!"

"A what jumper?" I asked.

"Dimension. It's obvious you're talking about the portal here in town. You must have one in your dimension."

"Look," I said. "It was all your fault! Well, your fault in my dimension. So, if you'd just let me get back to that portal I can return home and save my brother from the other Bill."

"Sorry, Shooting Star, but I've got other plans for you."

Okay, so I wasn't going to make this a cliffhanger, but oops, I kinda did. Sorry

I'm so glad that I don't have to go to track again till Tuesday. Sure, I have to go to practice, but I'm manager, so I don't really have to do anything but take times at meets. So if this ending seems a little rushed, it was because I was trying to finish it up before the bus stopped at the meet today.
