~Stan's POV~

I sat at Stanley's bedside. "This is stupid," he muttered. "I'm fine."

"We have to go find Mabel and find our way back to our dimension."

"These nurses won't even let my go to the bathroom on my own! Do you really think they'll just let me walk out of those doors?"

"Relax," I said. "You'll be out by tonight."

Stanley grumbled something about hospital food tasting like rat poop then closed his eyes.

I smirked. Always good to have your brother back, eh?

Suddenly, there was a voice in my head. Hello, Stan Pines.

Bill?

The one and only.

What do you want? How'd you get in my head?

Nevermind how I got here, it's why I'm here. You're probably wondering where those kids are-

You touch those kids, and you're dead Cipher!

Yeash! Relax, old man, I've only got Pine Tree here with me, both of them.

What do you mean, 'both of them'?

Well, you see, someone made a rip in the fabric of reality, so let's just say me and Pine Tree have fallen into this dimension and now we've lost Shooting Star-

What are you doing with the kid, Cipher?

There was silence and I was sure that Bill had left. Then, Oh, you'll see.

And what about the one from this dimension?

I guess you could say he's a demon of a child.

What do you mean?

You'll see.

Cipher!

Then he was gone.

I waited, not moving, until I was sure he was gone.

As soon as I relaxed, something grabbed me from the collar of the shirt and pulled me...well, somewhere.

The next thing I knew, I was sitting on cold, hard stone. "What the-"

"G-Grunkle Stan?" Said two of the same voices at the same time.

"Dipper?" I asked turning around, finding two of them. One was just as I knew him, but the other had yellow cat-like eyes, blond hair and was wearing a suit.

The one I remember broke out into a smile. The blond one broke out into tears.

"W-what'd I say?"

Dipper rubbed the blond Dipper's back. He was muttering to him under his breath and the blond Dipper's sobs turned into just whimpers.

"Sorry, Stan," Dipper said. "He's been through a lot."

Blond Dipper nodded, wiping the snot from his nose. "It's just that... I-I killed you."

"...what?" I asked, standing up.

"I-in this dimension," Blond Dipper explained hastily. "B-Bill made me do it." Then his voice got quiet. "I killed Mabel too." His body racked with sobs again. I put my hand gently on his shoulder. "Hey, its okay kid."

"No, its not!" He yelled. "Do you know what it feels like to kill someone? To go insane? To forget everything you know? To be servant to Bill? For him to be connected to you? To be immortal and realize that you have to live with this guilt forever?!"

He was breathing hard and his hands had caught on fire. I jumped. He took a deep breath. "I-I'm sorry. I just..." his voice died. "I'm tired. I think I need to get some sleep."

Dipper stood up and grabbed my arm, leading me away from my blond nephew from another dimension (never imagined I'd ever have to say that!). "We should let him be for a little bit," Dipper said. "Bill's hurt him enough already."

"Are you okay, kid? Where's your sister?"

Dipper's gaze fell to the floor. "I-I don't know. She ran off before Bill could hurt her but...she could be anywhere. As for me, I'm alright."

I could here it in his voice. The last part, he was lying. I decided not to push him. I gave him a little smile. "Don't give up, kid."

Dipper smiled half-heartedly. "I'll try."

~Bill's POV~

I paced back and forth. What to do with the Old Man. I thought of using him as a weapon against Pine Tree, like I would his sister, when I got my hands on her. Then there was the other kid. I had to get rid of him, but that would involve getting rid of the other me. Do it, I thought. He's the one that got you in this mess. Destroy the boy and they both die. I've got it! I'll capture the kid and then bring him to the Council. They'd know what to do. There can only be one Bill Cipher, and that's me!

Now all I needed was for all the puzzle pieces to fall in place. Get the author and Shooting Star. The author would be easy enough. He was bed ridden right now, so I'll just snatch him up later. And Shooting Star was easy to lead into a trap, but she had a stronger will. Hey, it's not like you're trying to break her. You'll need that strength for testing Pine Tree.

A smile spread across my face. After Pine Tree kills Shooting Star once and for all, I'll be able to make her a Death Demon! Not as powerful, but then I can use her and her brother so I can kill all humanity and then all the galaxy could bend at my will!

Not if I can help it, said a voice in my head. I froze. I hadn't heard that whiny little voice in a while. A smile spread across my face. "So you followed me?"

"Yes."

I turned to see the sad, scared, reverse version of me. Tears slipped down his cheeks and he was standing in a bent, cowardish way. I smirked and he shivered. His blue eyes shifted to the ground.

"And how are you going to stop me?"

He seemed to melt in front of me into his true demon form. "Nevermind."

My smirk grew. "I do have a job for you, however."

He shivered visibly. "Y-you do?"

I nodded. "Find Shooting Star and bring her back."

"A-alive?"

I shrugged. "Either way's fine with me."
