Chapter 8

Third person's POV

Second day of school, students will be attending classes today.

Mina and her friends are walking towards their lockers. As usual, there are many gifts, chocolates and love letters that were left by their admirers, some are on top of the lockers, some hanging on the doors. Mina sighs having to remove all of those for how many times, she lost counts. She never asks for any of those, she never even wants attention from people, it's a burden for her.

While they are busy putting things away, they hear people's murmurings

'Hey, is that the new girl that everyone is talking about? She's hot!'

'She's so cute!'

"All 3 of them are hotties'

'Should we come say hi to them?'

Mina looks to where the noises are to see Chaeyoung and her friends are standing in front of their lockers. She sees some girls approach Chaeyoung seemingly saying hello, the girls even give Chaeyoung a box of chocolates and a letter, Chaeyoung smiles widely at them, being so friendly.

'Such a flirt!' Mina says, still holding the grudge against Chaeyoung,

'Mina, you're staring.' Nayeon nudges Mina's arm,

'No, I'm not.' Mina diverts her eyes back to her locker

'Wow, just one day, and her popularity has increased tenfold' Sana says while looking at Chaeyoung and her friends,

'Whatever, let's go to class. We don't want to be late.' Mina says to her friends. They then walk away.

Time skips to lunch,

Chaeyoung, Dahyun, Tzuyu and Jungyeon are sitting together on one table while about 2 tables away from them, Mina, Momo, Sana and Nayeon are also together.

Suddenly, a group of 3 boys approach Chaeyoung's table,

Jimin, one of the three yells at Chaeyoung 'You Shorty, how dare you touch my princess?'

'And what does it have to do with you?' Chaeyoung turns around to face him,

'Protecting her is my job' he spits,

Chaeyoung and her friends are now all stand up from their seats and face the boys. Sensing the raising tension, Jungyeon asks Dahyun in whisper 'Should I go notify a teacher just in case?'

'No need Unnie, Chaeyoung can handle this' Dahyun answers confidently knowing Chaeyoung's Taekwondo background,

Everyone in the cafeteria including Mina and her friends now have their attentions on them,

'Is that so? Chaeyoung talks back to Jimin 'by the look on your face, you determine to hurt me no matter what, so there is no need for me to explain myself. Come on let's just get it done and over with!'

'You little brat! I gotta teach you a lesson' Jimin yells, and throws a punch aiming at Chaeyoung's face,

Chaeyoung dodges it easily and throws back a punch right on his stomach. He falls down on the floor groaning in pain. His friends Jin and Jungkook jump in punching non-stop towards Chaeyoung, she avoids and blocks every single ones, then she kicks each of them on their legs hard, resulting them to roll on the floor in pain. Knowing that they won't win against Chaeyoung, they try their best to stand up and walk away in embarrassment.

Everyone in the cafeteria was 'oohhh...aaahhh' applausing Chaeyoung's bravery,

Mina and her friends have their mouths agape
