Chapter 41

Third person's POV

A few months later, they are now almost complete their university courses, and about to enter into the real life as graduate students.

It's one of the normal uni day, they all gathered at the food court, having lunch together,

'Where's Dahyun?' Momo asks, looking around for Dahyun,

'She said she will just stop by the restroom first before coming here.' Chaeyoung answers,

Right then, Dahyun runs over while calling out Chaeyoung's name loudly, 'Chae...oh my God...Chae...',

Everyone startles at the loud noise,

'What is it, Hyun?' Chaeyoung asks,

'The professor just put an announcement on the notice board. You, Chae, you are one of the top five in the national art competition.' Dahyun answers,

'What? Really?' Both Chaeyoung and Mina are standing up, asking at the same time.

'Yes, really!' Dahyun answers,

Mina screams in happiness and jumps into Chaeyoung's arms, doesn't care if everyone in the food court is staring at them. Chaeyoung hugs Mina tightly, feeling over the moon.

Dahyun looks at them, deadpan, 'Isn't it normally the one who brings you the good news is the one getting the hug?'

Mina and Chaeyoung both chuckle at their friend's statement. They release the hug, Chaeyoung walks to Dahyun with open arms, 'Come here, Hyunie!' Chaeyoung says,

Dahyun rolls her eyes but then runs over and hugs Chaeyoung tightly, 'I'm proud of you, Chae.' She tells Chaeyoung.

Tzuyu also runs to them and joins the hug, 'Well done, Chae.' She happily says,

'Congratulations, Chaeyoung!' They all shout,

'But what art competition is it?' Jungyeon asks, having heard it for the first time today,

'Oh, you didn't know? It's the national competition for all art students in every university in Korea. The winner will have their artworks displayed in the famous gallery of the renowned artist Jo Joon Ki.' Sana explains,

'So basically, if our Chae wins, her art career is set solid.' Tzuyu finishes off,

Everyone is nodding their heads along, feeling proud of their friend.

'Wow, it's a big deal, congrats to you, Chaeyoung!' Nayeon exclaims,

'Thank you, but I still haven't won it yet. I'm only in the top five.' Chaeyoung humbly says,

'Being in the top five is already a great achievement. I'm so proud of you, Babe.' Mina proudly tells her.

Chaeyoung smiles, she squeezes Mina's hand which she has been holding this whole time.

'The five finalists will have to do a presentation about how they came up with the paintings. The judges will also see how the public receive their artworks as well, then they will decide the winner. This will be held in Busan in two weeks.' Dahyun continues to explain about the competition.

Chaeyoung looks at Mina, she is worried about her Baby being home by herself during the time that she will be in Busan. Mina looks back at Chaeyoung, she smiles knowing what Chaeyoung is thinking about, 'Babe, I'm coming with you.' She says.

Two weeks later, Mina and Chaeyoung are in Busan. They are now in a big gallery where the top five finalists will have their presentations and their artworks displayed to public.
