Chapter 27

Third person's POV

Chaeyoung has been walking back and forth in the living room of her apartment. She just couldn't sit still, being so worried for Mina, and the fact that Mina's phone has been disconnected, she has no way to communicate with her.

Tzuyu, Dahyun and Jungyeon are also there to comfort their friend after knowing what happened,

'Chae, calm down! Everything will be ok.' Dahyun is trying to console her,

'Nayeon, Momo and Sana will be back soon, they will definitely have some informations about Mina.' Jungyeon tells her

Tzuyu gives Chaeyoung a cup of ramen she just cooked, 'Here, eat it, you haven't had anything all day.'

Chaeyoung takes the cup of ramen from Tzuyu's hand but puts it down on the table, she has no appetite to eat anything. Not long after, her door bell rings, she immediately runs to the door and opens it, letting Nayeon, Momo and Sana in,

'Unnies, were you able to see Mina? How is she? Why isn't she answering my calls?' Chaeyoung worrily asks,

'We couldn't see Mina, they didn't let us in...' Nayeon tells her,

Sana continues, 'But after begging one of the house helpers, she told us that Mina is grounded by her dad. She is not allowed to step foot out of her room...'

'And he took her phone away, that's why we can't contact her.' Momo says.

Chaeyoung plops down onto the couch like a soulless corpse, tears are falling without her knowing it, 'Mina...Baby...' She whispered calls Mina's name.

They all have their heads down, feeling dejected, having no idea how to help Mina and Chaeyoung.

'How about we try to sneak Mina out, and you two can just run away together?' Momo tells them her idea,

'Pabo, didn't you see the security they have around their house? There is no way we can sneak Mina out.' Nayeon says,

'And even if you can get Mina out, Mr Myoui will just bring her back easily knowing how powerful and influential he is.' Jungyeon tells her,

'Uhhh, then what do we do?' Sana frustratedly asks,

Tzuyu pats Chaeyoung's shoulder, 'Chae, what are you thinking about? You are so quiet. Don't scare us.'

'My mind is blank, Tzu. I don't know what to do. The only thing I know is that I will never give up on Mina.' Chaeyoung says with full determination.

Mr Myoui has decided to work from home, so he can keep an eye on Mina. It's the second day since Mina is being grounded in her room, she still refuses to say sorry or promise not to see Chaeyoung.

It's lunch time, Mr and Mrs Myoui just come out to the dining area to have their lunch. From there, they can hear the door bell has been ringing nonstop. Mrs Myoui calls one of the house helpers over, 'Why don't you check to see who is at the gate? The door bell has been ringing many times now.'

'Uhmm, Mrs Myoui...uhmm, it's that girl...Chaeyoung. She has been there at the gate since this morning, but...we are not allowed to let her in' The maid says,

Mr Myoui slams his knife and fork down on the table, 'I've already warned her, and she's still coming here. I gotta...'

Mrs Myoui cuts him off, 'Let her in.' She tells the maid,

Mr Myoui widens his eyes, 'Honey, why do you let her in?'

'I want to hear what she has to say. And I want to see if it really is so wrong that our daughter loves her.' She tells her husband.
