"Thank you for dinner, Rowan," I said once we got into the car.

"Anytime, beautiful," he replied, making me blush.

Even though I wanted to lay with Rowan all day, he decided to take me out tonight.

He picked out an outfit for me and told me that we would go wherever the car took us.

I wore a pair of blue jean shorts with a nude camisole that stopped a little above my belly button. To match, I wore a pair of nude sandals with tiny jewels on them. I had my hair tied into a bun and wore small, gold hoops.

The car took us eight hours outside of Ibiza. We ended up three hours away from from the tiny island.

Rowan took me to a restaurant called Arzak in San Sebestian. They had a variety of cultural food and private dining areas.

I was embarrassed to be seen covered in hickies, so Rowan sent a threatening glare to anyone who stared at me for too long.

He claimed he wasn't hungry, so he watched me eat while rubbing my inner thighs under the table.

I knew my face was red, and he was enjoying every second of it.

"Can we stop here?" I asked, taking myself away from the heated memories of dinner.

The scenery was beautiful. There were people dancing with their partners while a man played the piano. Another man played the violin. There was a lady with a mic in her hand. With her eyes closed, she sang into the mic. I wondered what she was saying.

I couldn't hear the music, but it seemed like the music was slow.

Rowan turned the car off and got out. He opened my door, grabbing my hand. I smiled at him and took his hand in mine.

The music became louder as we approached the scene.

There were about four couples, including us out here.

There were lantern lights hanging from the poles on the street which cast a golden light on us. The pebble pavement glistened, so I assumed it had rained days before.

Everyone was in their own little world. I loved it. No one was judging. No one was scared. No one was worried. The atmosphere was at peace. The world was still and beautiful.

"Can I have this dance?" Rowan asked me with a small smile.

I smiled back and nodded. "You didn't teach me for nothing," I responded which caused him to laugh.

Rowan's laugh was loud and beautiful. His laugh was as rare and beautiful as our peaceful existence right now.

Wrapping my hands around his torso, I laid my head on his chest.

The girl started singing. It was almost as if this was perfect timing.

The time I thought we would have was taken from red to black, and I said things I can't take back

I don't know how to live with that, there's a darkness that I've known and it's shaken me to stone

"You know that I will do anything for you, Scarlett," Rowan said. I felt the vibrations of his voice as I nodded my head against his chest.

He rocked us gently as the girl's angelic voice echoed through the streets.

I know that I don't let you see, but you mean the world to me

And I know that I can be pretty mean, but you mean the world to me

"I need to hear you say it."
