KABADONG-KABADO NA ako sa pwesto ko sa labas ng bilog. The big circle was surrounded by the Grimm Brothers headed by Mythos who will conduct the ritual.

We already practiced for this, but the anxiety now that I am here was still of another level. It was something I didn't expect. Para bang ganito iyong pakiramdam kapag nag-e-exam ako sa Math tapos kahit nag-aral naman na ako ay nabobobo pa rin ako sa harap ng test paper. Ganito iyon, e. “Kakayanin ko po ba ito?” I asked.

“Ikaw lang ang makakasagot ng tanong mo. Pero maniwala ka lang sa sarili mo at sa Kanya,” she retorted and never forget to remind me as well of my faith in God. “Naniniwala ako sa ‘yo, Una. Alam kong maiiligtas mo ang pamilya natin.”

Hearing those words from her, both comforted and afflicted me. Having someone who believed in you, especially in times like this was indeed comforting. When all else failed, I can always hold on to my faith and in myself so I need to believe in them.

I was feeling afflicted too because of her. I can save everyone, every member of my new family today, but not her... not Lady Incha. I don't want to just leave her behind. I want to save everyone single one of them. I want to take them all out of their respective miseries, but I cannot with her...

Napatingala ako nang magsimulang lumabo ang mga paningin ko. However, despite of that, I will still be hoping and praying for Lady Incha's salvation to come soon. Kung siya na lang mag-isa ang naniniwalang darating pa iyon, hindi ko siya iiwanan, sasamahan ko siyang maniwala. Kung pagod na siya, hindi ako titigil na magdasal at humiling para sa kanya.

Kahit na naluluha man ay hinarap ko si Lady Incha at nginitian. This woman might have sinned gravely before, but she also did so much sacrifices for the Hotel Grimm and for us. I reached for her hands and held them tightly.

“We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness,” I quoted the line from George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four novel.

Lady Incha smiled sincerely at me. I then resumed talking. “I will keep believing, hoping, and praying for you, Lady Incha. Thank you so much for everything.”

“You do not need to feel sorry for me, Una. I am fine. Kaya ko at kakayanin ko pa,” she told me, too.

Mythos summoned his shakujō staff so that the ritual in calling the Abseiles Spirit would commence. Nakatayo na ako sa gitna at kinakabahan na sa susunod na mangyayari. Wala na bang kulang? Will it be successful? Gagana ba talaga ito para mawala ang sumpa ng Sinners Squad?

I ran my gaze around and outside the circle. My Hotel Grimm family seemed worried but they were also giving me looks that were assuring me that they got my back when something bad happens. Pag-isa-isa ko naman sa magkakapatid na Grimm sa palibot ko ay binibigyan nila ako ng mga nagtitiwala at positibong tingin. Nag-thumbs-up pa sa akin si Bodhi.

“Ate Una, sama ako,” saad niya at akmang lalapit na sa akin nang pigilan siya nang humahalakhak na si Mayor Juan sa tabi niya.

“Bodhi, just stay here if you want an ice cream after this,” suhol nila sa bunsong kapatid.
