I let out a shaky breath and open my front door hearing the roar of Seb's jeep pull away once the door closed, my eyes hurt from holding in the tears but my heartfelt light,

I haven't felt this free in a long time.

The house was empty and I felt like I was being taunted by the darkness and loneliness the house held,

I took one step in the right direction by telling Seb everything, he sat there and listened to me, no one has ever done that for me before.

No one has ever listened to me and stayed there, even after I told him everything he still sat there and held my hand offering another level of support my body has never felt.

I silently tiptoed up the stairs and slipped into my bedroom closing the door without a creak.

I changed into a tank top and shorts then climbed to my bed replaying the events of tonight, his face never left my mind,

his stupid perfect flawless face. Even after I told him everything not once did he judge me, I hate that I notice these things but I couldn't help it.

"I'm so fucking weak," I mumbled to myself before turning over and slamming my face into the pillow.

My head hurt as I slowly opened my eyes to only see darkness once again, it was so early in the morning that the sun was still hidden by the darkness.

I wasn't tired anymore so I decided to get up and go for a walk because why fucking not. Today I didn't feel as good as I thought I would, everything I let go of last night caught up to me again,

the lightweight feeling in my heart I once felt was now back to being weighed down by the guilt.

Every time I think something good can last it gets pulled away from me.

The moon was still hanging in the sky as I walked around the small town looking at the closed shops and cafes, there was a stillness to the town that you could only experience when no one was around,

my silence got interrupted when I heard a faint grunt of pain around the corner,

I went over the different scenarios in my head to see what would happen if I went over there but curiosity got the best of me and I found my feet moving before my brain even registered.

I followed the sound and turned the corner walking into a back alley, the only source of light a few street lamps and the moon,

I squinted my eyes and saw six bodies, two were holding someone still as the other ones were throwing punches and kicking the person who was restraint by their strongholds.

I quickly turned away not wanting to get recognized by any of the people there but just as I was in the clear I heard the punches stop and the gravel shift under the weight of someone,

"well look who it is, Faith Walker I never thought this day would come."

I took a deep breath and turned around, when my eyes finally adjusted to the darkness I saw that the body they were using as a punching bag belonged to Sebastian,

the other two people let go of him and he fell to the ground not being able to support his own weight,

there was blood coming out of his mouth and his face was almost unrecognizable with the amount of blood it was covered in.

I looked at the main guy and smirked at him "sorry to interrupt gentleman but I will let you go back to whatever it was that you were doing.

"Before I could take a step his hand was on my arm in a tight grip not letting me leave. "Not so fast Faith, do you recognize me?"
