Ch 23

It wasn’t until late in the afternoon that I woke up and stretched, lifting my disheveled body. Then I sat at my desk and began doing certain things.

It’s been about half an hour since then.

After completing what I had planned, I slightly warmed up my stiff neck and opened my mouth,

“Activate the oracle.”

Then a window appeared in front of me as if it had waited.

[The deactivation of ‘Oracle’ is cancelled]

And soon afterward, many chat windows started popping up.

[Odyssey, the God of Love, runs barefooted]

[Ciel, the God of Destruction, is sulky and grumbles at your indifference]

[Monde, the God of Art, begins to reattach your fragmented portrait]

Oh, I grinned with my hands on my forehead.

[Hesed, the God of Knowledge, urgently recovers the thunderbolt that they were about to strike]

As expected, Hesed was responsible for the lightning strike.

‘But why is he the God of Knowledge instead of God of Lightning?’

I tilted my head at the question that occurred to me.

[Hesed, the God of Knowledge, seems to have a lot to say to you]

Right then, I said to Hesed,

“Bless me.”

I spoke to Hesed without hesitation.

[Ciel, the God of Destruction, shakes their head as if it was out of the question]

But Ciel interrupted.

Somehow, the gods seemed to be sulking.

But I wonder if I should be grateful to them for not leaving the oracle. But I suppose it would be terrible instead.

“There’s a reason for that. There are times when I need privacy, too.”

[Odyssey, the God of Love, is curious about what ‘privacy’ is]

“I mean… it’s embarrassing.”

I said with a small sigh.

Then the chat window suddenly made a fuss.

[The Odyssey, the God of Love, wants to know what you’re ashamed of]

[Ciel, the God of Destruction, blushes while looking elsewhere with a pouty expression]

[Monde, the God of Art, is making goods with your shy expression]

…Once again, I couldn’t cope with the gods’ overreaction.

[Hesed, the God of Knowledge, nods at the fact that you are still at that age]

Fortunately, the gods seemed willing to understand. Well, otherwise they would have left the oracle.

Hmm, I coughed and went on to say,

“Like going to the bathroom to wash myself… In any case, I’ll deactivate the oracle whenever necessary.”
