“It’s so sweet!”

An hour later, I enjoyed a peaceful tea time with Cass on the balcony of a teahouse on the main street.

Every woman passing by gave Cass a glance, but my eyes were fixed on the cake.

Cass, who sat across from me, was staring intently at me as I ate the sweet strawberry mousse cake.

“Go ahead and eat, Marquis. Or else I’m going to eat it all.”

As expected, whether it was made by a priest or someone else, these are much tastier than those made in the temple. Black tea is also delicious.

“You must have been hungry.”

“No, I already had a meal…”

I said, poking a fork into the corner of the cake.

“Doesn’t everyone have a separate stomach for each food and dessert?”

The sweet cake lifted my spirits to the highest level.

“It would be a sin not to eat this.”

I glanced at Cass, who was sitting still without eating.

“Instead of 10%, I’d like to have a cup of tea with the Saintess.”

You’re being coy after saying that.

“I wasn’t expecting you to feel better so quickly.”

I felt like a happy pig alone when I saw him just staring at me while I ate deliciously, so I picked up his fork.

“You said it was a sin, Marquis.”

I then took a piece of cake and shoved it to him.

“Or are you waiting for me to feed you?”

What I just said was, of course, a joke.

There seemed to be a slight smile on his lips.

Contrary to his habitual artificial smile, it seems very natural…?

He took the fork and parted his lips,

“I’ve never seen someone eating their food so attentively.”

His words made my cheeks flush for no apparent reason.

Did I eat too much? But I had enough of being formal in the temple, so I didn’t want to act like a saint even when I came out to play in this free outfit.

Cass looked at my flushed cheeks and asked,

“Ah, was it impolite of me to say that?”

“Yes. It was a huge disgrace.”

I reached out to his hand holding the fork and pushed it all the way. The cake touched his lips.

“Hurry up.”

He smiled at me again and put the cake in his mouth.

I looked blankly at the movement of his lips as he ate the cake for a moment, then turned my gaze away.

Cass’s lips were coloured red. Aside from the fact that it was a man’s lips, I found it more beautiful than mine.

“…It’s delicious.”

I heard his voice.

“It’s good, right?”

“Much more than the one I ate a few days ago.”

Did they upgrade the toppings in a few days? I tilted my head.
