*TOOT TOOT TOOT TOOT*

*THUD!*

A groan escaped my lips as I heard footsteps approaching outside my room.

The door slid open, revealing Chifuyu and Kazutora.

"Baji-san? Hey, are you okay?" Chifuyu asked, concern in his eyes as he looked at me.

I sat up and glared at my alarm clock.

I wasn't sure what I had been dreaming, but it had been something bad. My head was throbbing with pain.

"What are you two doing here?" I asked.

"We heard a loud thud and came to check if you're all right," Kazutora replied, looking around my room. "Looks like you're fine. We're running late for Takemichi's wedding."

I blinked twice, only then realizing that today was Bakamichi's wedding.

"That lucky bastard," I muttered.

"Thanks for reminding me. Anyway, where's Neviah?" I asked them as I stood up.

"Baji-san, you know that she's-" Chifuyu began.

"UWAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

We all flinched as a child's cry echoed from another room.

"W-Who-"

"BAJIIIIIIIIII! Your kid is crying!" Mitsuya's voice reached us.

I furrowed my brow. "My child?" I couldn't recall having a child.

"W-What does Mitsuya mean by 'my child'? I haven't had a child," I said, confused.

Kazutora and Chifuyu exchanged shocked glances at my response.

"W-Wait? You don't know your child?" Chifuyu asked.

"Don't tell me you're pranking us, Baji-san?" Kazutora added, crossing his arms.

"Why would I prank you guys?! Damn, my head hurts!" I groaned as the pain in my head intensified.

"My child" – as far as I could remember, I didn't have one.

"I think..." Chifuyu began.

"We need to call Dazai-san," Kazutora finished the sentence and was about to leave the room.

"Who?" I asked, still confused.

They ignored me, and just as Kazutora was leaving, the door burst open.
