(TRIS POV)

I run to answer the door and see the gang. No Chris or will.

"Why you look dashing this evening" zeke says. Shauana looks away and four tenses at my side.

"Why thank you! Come in" I usher them in.

As uriah walks passed me he whispers "he's not lying" I blush. We crowd in the living room.

"So what should we do first-" I get interrupted by caleb.

"Can I hang with you guys?" Caleb asks.

"Nope" I tell him.

"C'mon let him!" Lynn begs. I raise an eyebrow at her.

"DAD!!!!!" I yell. I hear footsteps run down the stairs. My dad appears.

"What is it sweetheart?" My dad asks.

"Caleb won't leave me and my friends alone!" I whine.

"Caleb, leave her and her friends alone!" My dad tells him.

"But I wanna hang out with Lynn!" Caleb retorts. Every one looks at him. Then at lynn. Lynn's blushing.

"I-I mean them" Caleb corrects.

"Too bad, upstairs now" my dad says. Caleb nods and runs up to his room.

"Thanks" I tell my dad.

"No prob, and to-four no funny business with my daughter" my dad says. I glare at my dad.

"We aren't together anymore sir" Tobias says. I look down.

"Oh, may I ask why?" I feel tobias eyes burning into me.

"I don't think that would be a good idea" Toby says. My dad nods and goes back upstairs.

"So? How about truth or dare?" I ask. Everyone nods.

"I'll go first. Four, truth or dare?" Zeke asks.

"Dare" Toby replies. Zeke thinks for a minute.

"I dare you to sing a song for anyone in this room. I've never heard you sing" zeke says. Toby nods. He stands up and gets on the table. He looks at me. He starts to sing.

I'm wide awake

Yeah I was in the dark, I was falling hard, with an open heart

I'm wide awake

How did I read the stars so wrong

I'm wide awake

And now it's clear to me, that everything you see, isn't always what it seems

I'm wide awake

Yeah I was dreaming for so long

I wish I knew then, what I knew now. Wouldn't have dived in. Wouldn't bow down.

Gravity hurts, you made it so sweet. Till I woke up on, on the concrete

I'm falling from cloud nine. Crashing from the high

I'm letting go tonight

Yeah I'm falling from cloud nine

I'm wide awake

He looked at me the whole time. Not once did he look away. Do you know how that feels? I think you do. I look down in shame.

"Ok um uriah, you know the question" Toby says.
