Mustafa parked his car and got out, hurriedly going inside the emergency room. Apparently a government officer had suffered a heart attack and the hospital wants him to perform this critical surgery.
He entered his cabin and the nurses rushed toward him. Knowing his temperament and his strict persona they were quite fearful of him. Giving him files, reports and after wearing his scrubs he left and the nurses followed him. Even though he's cold and aloof, his gesture was of a person who's gentleman. But his demeanor, his looks that has nurses along with many of his patients enticed, his posture, his intelligence everything attracted people around him.
Approaching the OT he entered from the back door and signed. It's gonna be a long night. It was a minor attack but the patient had some medical underlying conditions so it's gonna be critical.
"What's the pulse?" He said and started the operation. . . . . . . . Just like this 4 hours flew by and he signed in relief when the operation was successful.
He handed the rest of the work to other doctors and took off his mask.
He washed his hands and took off his scrubs. Taking the files in his hands he got out. He had to review them. Deciding to turn on his phone because he knew his wife will go crazy if she doesn't find him answering her calls, he decided to head to his cabin first. He has yet to meet the family members who were waiting outside.
But as soon as he got out, he felt like his soul would leave his body. The air from him was sucked out and his eyes immediately darkened.
What are they doing here?!
In hurry he didn't bother to check the name of the patient and because he entered from the back door he didn't saw anyone.
His eyes raked over the women who was once the reason of his life. His ex fiancé stood there with tears running down from her already red eyes.
She was seated and her family members that he was quite familiar with surrounded her. All of them were looking quite stressed and panicked.
He halted. Nobody saw him and he took that advantage to compose himself. When he felt his heart calming down and his mind clear, he switched to his professional demeanor. He cleared his throat gaining the attention of them.
He watched as the women lifted her head up and following her all of the familiar faces looked up. And they gasped. . . . . . . . . .
. . Kaina switched from one side to another. She was now used to sleeping in his warm embrace. His scent and rhythmic heartbeat calmed her down after a stressful day.
She turned toward his side and slowly inched toward his side. He always prefers the right side. She crept inside his side and buried her head on his pillow inhaling his musky cinnamon scent. Tracing his pillows she looked outside the window which was open. The cool air was gently caressing her body. The clear sky and the stars fascinated her.
