A/N: OMG! Thank you all for the sweet and funny comments. 😭🤧. I really appreciate it. I just don't know how to reply and it would seem rude not to so thank you so much for the love and support. I really appreciate it. You know the word "kilig"? It doesn't have a direct eng translation but yeah. That's how I feel every time my notif says someone left a comment.

Anyhow. Two chaps back to back. Hope you'll like it.

Ojiisan found me staring at myself in the mirror. Actually I've been staring at myself in the mirror for the past 30 minutes. He walked towards me and gave me a pat on my shoulder.

"You look awesome." I smiled. I don't look beautiful but I look awesome. That's not what I'm expecting from novel characters but I'll take it.

I'm nervous as hell. Though looking at Lee Shin-Ah's reflection, she looked rather sad then nervous.

I was dressed in a suit and tie that flattered my curves to show how feminine and respectable I was. It came with a matching pair of trousers and freshly waxed black heels. I have a white rose brooch with gleaming diamonds dangling beneath it. My shoulder-length hair cascaded down my back. I styled it with a side part and a hairpin with white pearls. Simple... But elegant. I'm starting to feel like a mafia leader.

"Are you sure you're not coming?" I know it's dangerous but I'm really feeling anxious at the moment. I need someone, say a previously titled chairman, standing in front of the crowd just to ease the tension I'm feeling.

"It's not time yet, my dear." He smiled at me and escorted me outside to the receiving area.

I saw the rest looking up at me with astonishment. Eunsoo even gestured to brush a tear on her cheek.

"You look so beautiful, M'lady." Said Jeuda with the cat in her arms.

"Have you decided what to name it?"

"Oh... I don't know..." She looked at the cat then back at me. "You should name him, my lady."

"Should I?" I leaned down a bit to look at the cat. His eyes were glistening like the moon that was peeping through the window. "Let's call him Tsuki. Nothing special but it's the first thing that came to mind."

The cat shut its eyes tightly for a second before opening it again as it stared at me. Hm. I think he likes it. They communicate through their eyes, I heard, so I guess that's that.

"We'll safeguard the house, M'lady." Sonri spoke.

Sonri was the only one from the agency. But she's no stranger to unfortunate back stories. In the search for a suitable boss to serve, she came across a maniac of a master. He took her innocence, looked her up and starved her for days, before finally getting bored with her that he tossed her to a nearby river. She was found by the police holding on to dear life. I don't know how Fabian did it, but he was able to save this woman from another scenario.

"I know you will."

"M'lady?" Fabian was waiting by the door. Before heading out, I hugged my grandfather and said goodbye. Roselia came with us as well to scout.

Upon entering the car, my sight never left the house until we made a turn. I sighed and leaned back. Tonight I'm facing those who want to kill me. Fabian made sure that he's got a hold of a few people to ensure security. I'm gonna need it.

"M'lady..." Roselia in the front seat, offered me a box. It contains ear buds that can be used for communication. "Everyone's ready."

"Can you contact Professor BwangJi? Tell him I want to add more men around him."
