I woke up wanting to laugh at myself. I mean at Lee Shin-Ah's memories. I never knew she could be that impulsive. Where did that come from?
"I guess there's still things about her I didn't know." I hopped out of bed realizing my closet door was now only hanging on its frame. What the...
Wait a minute!
I ran downstairs to check on everyone. No one's in the kitchen. In the living room. I called the maids but there was no response. Something's not right.
"Ojiisan?" He's room was empty. Where did everyone go? Did that Jin-Woo kill all my maids?! What if he kidnapped all of them and took them as hostages so I'll give him all the information I know. Hamp!!!
Hold up. What's the need to overreact when that man could've just killed us all? I'm not dead yet so that must mean the maids are alive and are just out on their morning errands. I chuckled at myself then sighed. Being exposed to that guy for too long really takes one's sanity away, huh?
With my hands on my waist, I walked outside to the back of the house.
A few minutes later, I started hearing voices. I followed the inaudible chatter and led me to a sight that I never imagined I would ever witness.
Sung Jin-Woo and Go Gunhee were seated casually within the pavilion. I mean, I understand they were friends, but... I'm not sure. I really wasn't expecting to see them drinking tea together. It's almost as though we're in 'that' timeline. Brrr. Chills.
"Oh, Shin-Ah!" My grandfather saw me. I winced a bit when Jin-Woo locked his eyes on me. "W-why are you still wearing your pajamas?"
I looked down and then realized I was still a morning mess. Great! What a way to start the day, Shin-Ah. Humiliation grew inside of me as I tried to cover my body using my arms but of course it was completely useless.
"Hold on. I'll fix that." Jin-Woo just snapped his fingers and voila! I was now covered with a thicker coat. Oh... So that's why it was a bit chilly.
Chotto matte. He's blatantly using his powers in front of me and my grandfather? My brows furrowed.
"You're awake, Shin-Ah. Have you eaten breakfast yet?" My grandfather asked. I gently shook my head as I moved towards them, still looking at Sung Jin-Woo.
I don't feel dizzy around him just like when I woke up in their apartment. I don't see any shadows around either. And he's... smiling? Woah woah woah wait. He's actually smiling. Like a genuine smile. Am I still dreaming?
" No, you're not. Just sit down, will you?"
"!!!" Did he just read my mind? I didn't know he had such powers. Is he still leveling up until today? Man, this guy's annoying.
"I'll be leaving you two here. I'll ask Roselia to deliver your breakfast."
" B-but Ojiisan--"
He raised his hand in front of me then smiled. After that, he just simply walked away. Leaving me and the beast alone. What the hell? Does my grandfather know? Does Sung Jin-Woo know?
Ughhh, my head's gonna explode! I'm confused as hell. Someone hand me the memo, please.
"Calm down, Shin-Ah. Your head is not gonna explode." I immediately turned my sharp gaze to Jin-Woo. With speculative eyes, I walked towards him and took the seat right next to him.
"How can you still be smiling, huh? And what are you-- The fuck!!!" I quickly snatched the photo book away from Jin-Woo.
I know I'm not Lee Shin-Ah but these pictures are still too precious to share with outsiders. Why did Ojiisan allow this guy to ransack through private property?
