Born To Love Ya

Chapter Six

It was game day and the captain was excited to lead her team to success again.

She peeked outside to see the cheer team in skirts that were too short to her liking. They were given a strict treatment from their leader, Somi.
She made sure everyone disliked her.

In the dressing room the captain reminded the team what was expected from them alongside with the coach observing proudly and always trusted Ryujin's leadership and believed the team was in great hands.

"...And Heejin please don't let go of your opponent it almost costed us the last time..."
"Call for back up when going upfront" The defender nodded indicating that she understood the instructions

"I already said much in practice. Have fun and play smart" Ryujin eased the atmosphere
"Coach?" Coach stepped in front
"It's your last season here and as your captain said, have fun and don't be hard on yourselves. Yes we want to win but what's the point of winning if you're not enjoying. All the best" Coach left to take his position on the bench on the ground

It was finally time to collide and both teams marched towards the pitch the traditional game of flipping the coin decided who starts the ball possession.

It took less than ten minutes for Ryujin to open the score causing a loud uproar from the supporters many of them just fighting for the attention of Ryujin who thought it was an amusing sight to witness.

Lia and Chaeryeong were among the supporters seating on the bench cheering their friend too.
The infamous school chant started with the cheer team dancing and screaming out their lungs.

The halftime whistle went off.
The teams rushed for water on the sidelines.

"Look at you go captain" Lia complimented as they team were not too far from the team. Ryujin smirked.

"-R-Y-U-J-I-N! -RYUJIN" Somi lead the cheer and blew the captain a flying kiss.

Second half started and both teams coming back from the words of their captain respectively. Ryujin's team added three more goals with two of them scored by her and assisted the other. The match ended 4-0 in favour of the hosts.

It was the team's tradition to hang out out after every victory which also helped the team connect more.

It was a party exclusive to the players and the cheer team including whoever they brought as plus ones to the event. 

Ryujin was not a fan of these kind of party as it was during school week and she needed to focus on studying.
Parties  are usually a place where she takes off her mind and hook up with random girls and hasn't been to one in a while.

This one was at Somi's.

"I thought you'd ignore me throughout the night but i was wrong i doubted you Shin Ryujin" Somi tilted her head and handed Ryujin a  red cup full of unholy liquid
"It's not like i had a choice or otherwise you would have kicked me out" You could tell the alcohol was talking as Ryujin's cheeks were turning red

"Let's go somewhere quiet" Ryujin suggested and Somi lead her upstairs by her hand

When they got upstairs, they wasted no time eating each others faces. Ryujin was now crashing her lips to Somi's and wanted to forget everything that happened. Ryujin carefully placed her hands on Somi's thighs and slowly slipping it under her dress

"Yeji..." Ryujin whispered
"What did you say?" Somi pushed the other away from her creating distance between them
Ryujin buried her hands on her face on realization and looked up
"You know i didn't mean it like that" Ryujin defended herself
"You called out that witch while we were making out Ryujin..."
"...I'm so stupid to think that you were over her when you only came here to forget about her" Somi threw her arms up in disbelief
