Chapter Eleven

The smell of freshly baked goods and coffee filled her nostrils and she was not complaining at all.

Spending time with alone is something she has not done in a while and taking a drive to her favorite coffee shop was the best decision.

She was amused to see that she was not the only one who decided to get some 'me' time here.

She took a sip of her latte which reminded her that this is the only place that understood how to satisfy her taste by having the best latte in town.

It was almost the end of the semester and summer was approaching. She giggled at her lack of plans this year.

She mostly spent her summer with Chaer and Lia. But the two have not said anything so far?

Weird

She unlocked her phone revealing two messages from Lia.

'heejin from your team is kinda hotttt'

'oh my god i just DM'ed her swallow me world'

Ryujin giggled at her ever so dramatic friend

She has a new crush every week

She put her phone down and was dissapointed that she did not get any texts from Yeji.

After that night can she blame her?

She smacked her head against her hand at her thoughts.

"Hundred and ninety nine two hundred!"

The gym was not that busy thankfully.  She wore her gloves and went straight for the punching bag.
She took all that she had inside to the bag.

"Slow down! You might have to pay for that" Tzuyu, Ryujin's friend and gym partner came to her rescue.

"How do people make decisions?" She went back into punching the bag which her friend was holding

"Who is this about?" Tzuyu raised her brow

"Everything in general"
"My life was going well until my ex showed up"

"Your life was not going well you just avoided things. It was hard to get a word out from you when you first came here you only just started to open up recently"

Ryujin stopped and looked at her friend.

"And where did opening up get me?"
She went back to punching the bag

"It gave you everything you just need to make the right choices"

Why is she speaking in codes?

"Now let's go and see who will quit first this time" Tzuyu challenged her friend to one of the machines on the gym

They both ran to the machine and luckily did not bump or trip into someone

It was weekend again and Ryujin was closing up this time.

"Just make sure the alarm code is correct and the safe keys are with you I trust you with all my life"
The manager handed Ryujin the keys of the place leaving her in charge

It was the last the hours of her shift and it was still busy but not chaotic.

"Happy Birthday!" Lia walked and of course she had to make her presence felt

"Shhhh keep it down" She placed her index finger on her lip before continuing
"And it's not birthday today it's tomorrow"

"I wanted to be the first one to wish you"

Ryujin observed that her friend was itching to say something

"Spill!"

"Have you spoke with Yeji?"

"No?"

"I hope she'll be there tomorrow" Lia sighed

"Huh?"

"The bowling alley silly! Cheating on Yeji really made some damage on your brain or is it that blonde dye in your head"

"Still don't understand why she's mad at me"

"Because she probably still care about you and if i don't see her tomorrow it will be all your fault" 
"And why couldn't you make out with Minju elsewhere?" Lia complained

"She ended up at the wrong place at the wrong time" She told her friend

Why did she care that Yeji saw them making out?

"You girls have fun!" Mrs. Shin then went inside after bringing out snacks for Ryujin and Yeji who were seated on the garden bench outside

"Your parents are really scary"

"They can't be that bad" Yeji defended them

"One second they are welcoming and the next they want to eat me alive"

Yeji giggled at her words

"It's not funny Yej"

"You look cute when you are mad"

Ryujin then tickled the other as punishment for not taking her serious

"RYUJIN!"

Ryujin then stopped

"You know how i suck at being tickled"
Yeji pouted

Ryujin took the chance to take a quick peck on her lips

"You look cute when you mad too and i could not resist it"
