Chapter Ten

"And you couldn't tell me over the phone?" Ryujin complained

"You would have made excuses and for a smart student you complain a lot" Yeji jokingly reprimanded

"The price i have to pay for being pretty and smart" Ryujin mumbled under her breath

"I can hear you" Yeji rolled her eyes

"Ryujin can i ask you something?"

"Shoot" Ryujin gave her the permission

"You still smoking?" Yeji asked the girl opposite her

Ryujin looked up from the book that she was reading

"Don't worry about me" Ryujin mumbled and focused back on the book

Ryujin recollected the last time she had this conversation with her younger sister. She was still smoking but not as much as before.
She promised to stop the smoking for her own sister's sake.

"I'm...We all worried about you especially Yuna"

"Did she talk you into this?" Ryujin asked

"She has every damn right to worry about her sister throwing her own future away" Yeji shot

"Sorry"

"An apology is not enough i need to see action" Yeji scolded her

Ryujin has not touched a cigarette in while and she was aware that her habit was having a bad effect on her relationship with others. Maybe it was time to stop.

"You look sexy when you angry"

"I'm serious"
Yeji was fed up with Ryujin's lack of seriousness

"I'm also serious i will stop smoking i promise"

Their library date was a success if you ignore the part where Ryujin felt like a huge dissapointment to her sister and everyone around her.

They decided to use the remaining ten minutes to get to class avoiding to be late

Unintentionally matching their steps everytime they walked side by side was now their thing

"Remember when we went for ice cream despite being freezing cold outside and we spent every single penny and had to walk home because we used up all of the money for our ride home" Yeji reminisced

"Haha yeah that was fun" Ryujin smiled at the memory

"We were soaking wet from the rain!" Yeji protested

"Which made it more romantic" Ryujin smirked
"Kdramas got nothing on us baby" Ryujin continued

Yeji's cheeks turned red at the fact that Ryujin called her 'baby'

"Are you blushing?" Ryujin did not miss the chance to embarrass her more

"Shut up"

"Hi Gays!" Chaeryeong joined them from behind linking her arms with them. She was now in the middle.

"I love your hair i can see why Ryujin is obsessed with you " Yeji smiled at the compliment

"Thanks"

Ryujin gave her friend a death stare which did not bother her friend at all as her attention was still on Yeji

"It's been long since we hung out. Are you able to join us at the bowling alley this weekend? For Ryujin's birthday?"
The red haired offered the cat eyed girl. 

Yes Ryujin's birthday was coming up and she was not a fan of the event because she spent most of them taking care of her drunk mother and wishing that her father was still alive.
