"Have you ever been here before?" Marcus curiously asked Luna. They both were sitting in the backseat of the car, and they both were observing the landscape. It was evening, but still not dark. It wouldn't get dark during the summer days - only if the weather was grey.

Luna looked at him. "A couple of times, but only in the winter," she mentioned. "You...in Iceland?"

"Never." He looked around. "I honestly forgot Iceland. Like I knew it existed, but I just forgot it."

Luna snorted and shook her head. "Awful."

"No, but for real, if you don't have to deal with Iceland, you forget it. It's in Europe, but not close enough like the UK. And I'm not from Europe, I learn about it once, but then I forget it right away."

"Touché."

"But I know Jane now, so I know exactly where it is now."

The taxi went to the left, leaving the road, entering the road to a house. It was a modern house, something you wouldn't expect in the Icelandic landscape. But at the same time, you would. The taxi stopped, and Marcus paid for it while Luna grabbed their bags from the trunk. The modern house was in the middle of nature, close to the sea, mountains, rocks, and green fields. It was raining, but more like drizzle rain.

Luna rang the bell and yawned; she was tired. The flight was long, there was a lot of traffic on the way to this house, and she was just longing for some sleep.

"Hello," Olafur, Jane's dad, said when he opened the door. "Come in," he quickly said when he noticed it rained outside. "Jane's inside," he softly said.

"Good to see you," Luna whispered. "How are you doing?" She put her bags on the ground and removed her shoes.

Marcus did the same and looked at the man. He looked like a policeman; tall, strict look in his eyes, bulky, he looked young for his age. He swallowed hard but managed to get a smile on his face. "Hi, I'm Marcus," he introduced himself and stuck out his hand. "Nice to meet you." His heartbeat started to rise. During the entire flight, he didn't feel nervous at all. But now...

"Olafur, Jane's dad," the dad replied and showed a smile. "Nice to meet you too. I heard a lot about you." He placed his hands on his hips after he shook Marcus' hand. "I hope you had a good flight?"

"It was long, but it was good," Luna replied and nodded. "And thank you for setting this up with us."

"No need to thank me," Olafur said. "It will do her good. Follow me," he said and entered the living area.

It was silence in the living room. The James Bond film was paused due to the unexpected bell, causing Jane to watch some TikTok.

Marcus looked around; it was an open house with a lot of light, yet cosy and warm. This was a house Jane would style. He looked at Luna, who also looked at Marcus. They shared a look, both not knowing what to do. Marcus looked at Jane; she was sitting with her back towards the entrance, so she didn't see them.

A famous tone filled the living room. "And I said: 'Romeo, save me, I've been feeling so alone. I keep waiting for you, but you never come.' Is this in my head? I don't know what to think. He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring," Jane sang along, being entirely in her element. "And said, 'Marry me, Juliet. You'll never have to be alone. I love you, and that's all I really know.'" She continued scrolling to the next video, letting her sigh.

Olafur cleared his throat, making Jane look behind her. She seemed pretty questionable, but her face softened when she saw who was standing behind her dad. Jane's jaw dropped, and she looked from her dad to Luna and Marcus. She was overwhelmed by emotions, she didn't understand what was going on.
