He immediately pulled away from Namjoon's neck and looked at Namjoon who was close to absolutely breaking down. A small tear made its way down Jungkook's cheeks. His soul left him as he noticed the sad look on Namjoon's face.

All this time he wanted to be the one that Namjoon would always look up to and admire if not love him back. He swore to protect Namjoon at all costs and keep him safe in his arms. He promised to be by Namjoon's side no matter what and support him till the end. And here he was, hurting Namjoon, making him cry, making him feel scared. I'm so sorry I couldn't say anything before. It's not that I couldn't see your love for me , I was just scared. I never fell in love before and to know it was my captain, I totally freaked out. I never knew what it meant to love someone, be someone's other half and stay by their side forever and love them.But after I fell for you, I was ready to go to any depth to understand what it meant to love just for you. I'm so sorry I made you feel this way. All the time I walked away from you was because I was scared of facing you. I had no idea what I would do if you ever noticed that I love you back. Jungkook's smile just kept getting bigger and bigger as Namjoon spoke. His dreams were finally coming true and he couldn't express how happy he was. Once Namjoon finished speaking he looked into Jungkook's eyes and they held each other's eyes and smiled fondly. What Jungkook wasn't expecting was Namjoon to kiss him. Jungkook's eyes widened in shock but Namjoon quickly pulled back noticing Jungkook didn't respond. He quickly started to stammer and explain himself , his cheeks catching fire and too shy to lock eyes with Jungkook. He thought the kiss would be the start of their relationship but he didn't expect it be a bad start. He felt embarrassed to the core as he stammered trying to explain himself when he felt a pair of lips attach themselves to his. Namjoon's eyes widened in shock as he pulled back in embarrassment his back hitting the wall. Namjoon bit his lips as he blushed looking at Jungkook who had a fond smile plastered to his face. Jungkook lingered closer to Namjoon's lips but kissed the tears away from Namjoon's eyes instead. Namjoon couldn't help but smile lovingly at the action as he closed his eyes and let Jungkook kiss his tears and worries away. Jungkook pulled back and said with a huge grin on his face, " Baby, I'm so happy to know how you feel. I promise to take care of you till the end. But just promise me you will stay by my side forever." Namjoon quickly nodded with a huge smile and replied, " Always and forever. I promise." Jungkook couldn't help but kiss that wonderful smile on Namjoon's face making Namjoon giggle and blush.
