Everyone from their church had made their way to the cave.
Once Eloise and Elliott saw their parents walk in, they went running to hug them. John kneeled and carried Elliot "hey buddy," he said, hugging him back. "Are you two ok," Eloise asked, looking at her parents for any injuries.
"We are don't worry about us," Violet said, kissing the top of Eloise's head.
Once Echo had the antenna ready pointing at Polis, she noticed that they weren't looking for them anymore.
"What do you mean," Diyoza asked as she was lying on the ground. "Okay...you want to be useful? What does it mean that from the antenna position, we saw your people moving weapons and supplies to the Northern perimeter?" Echo asked Diyoza.
Diyoza with Kane's help was able to sit up, and she had her hand on her pregnant stomach. "If McCreary's moving his troops North, then Wonkru's on the march again." "So much for blinding the eye," John said, looking at Violet. "Quiet, Murphy." John placed his hand on top of Violet's hand, making the fist she was making relax.
No one said anything for a second "Look. We can't be helpful unless we know all the facts," Kane finally said."The facts are I got played. They hacked the eye in the sky. I'm impressed," Diyoza said, looking at Echo. "Don't be. If McCreary knows they're coming, then we've failed. Without the element of surprise, it'll be a massacre," Echo said, looking at Raven.
"We have to tell them to go back. Let's get this thing on top," Raven said, trying to communicate with Bellamy and the others.
Once they were able to communicate with Bellamy, he didn't have great news.
"Clarke's on their side? What does that mean?" "It means we have to make this fast," Echo said. "Bellamy, you have to go back. We have their pilot, so you're safe for now. But you can't come here," Echo said into the radio.
"Not possible. It's a long story, but we can't go back, and we can't stop. We're five days out. You have that long to find us a safe way in. After that, we run out of rations," Bellamy answered.
"We're on it. Be safe. Over and out." "Clarke and McCreary?" Raven asked, not believing that Clarke would work with him.
"If it's true, I'll deal with her later. Lindo. Take your people and scout South. Stay out of sight and don't engage. We need details on troop count and weapons. Spacekru, you're with me," Echo started ordering people.
"I'm going with you," Kane said, getting up. "The hell you are. Trust has to be earned. Isn't that right, Colonel? Let's roll," Echo said. Kane gave Echo his gun.
"Man, I never get the gun," John said. Violet kissed his cheek "don't worry, we will find a gun," she told him with the kids quietly walking behind her "stay close," she told them.
They were behind a tree trunk, looking at what the prisoners were doing. "Pillbox. Gunner position. They're building them on both sides of the ravine," Echo said, "You don't have to be a spy to know this isn't the best way in. It's too high up, It's too freaking cold, and they'll see them coming for miles," Raven said.
"Come on. Let's go," Echo said, getting up, but John pulled her down. "Whoa. Hold on. Not so fast." "Murphy, we're scouting, not stealing." "That's easy for you to say. You already have a gun. Well, hello, beautiful. Guns," John said, looking to where they had all their weapons. "The box next to it is ammunition."
"Well, I mean, they can't shoot us with what they don't have," Murphy said, looking at Echo convincing her. "Follow me," she told the group.
Violet with the kids stayed behind, hiding behind a few trees while the rest of the group went after the guns. Eloise and Elliott watched quietly as their father was able to get one gun, he made his way to another gun but a man appeared, pointing his gun at their father's head. John raised his hands, "Drop the gun. Right now," Echo said, pointing a gun at the prisoner.
Eloise looked worried at her mother. Violet brought her index finger to her lips "you two stay here," she told them and walked ahead.
She got out her knife, "Look, you shoot me, she shoots you. Why don't we just go ahead and pretend this thing never happened?" John said, and she slowly continued to walk.
Two more prisoners come out of the trees "shit," Violet whispered as she saw them pointing a big gun at Raven. Echo dropped her gun. "Radio McCreary. Tell him we got the people who took Shaw."
"Now, that would be a big win," Shaw said, walking closer to the group. "Shaw, what the hell are you doing?" Raven told him. She definitely liked him, Violet thought to herself.
"I tell you what. Let them go, take me, McCreary gets his pilot, fires his missiles, you guys get to be heroes," Shaw said. The two prisoners were focused on Shaw; one of them lowered his gun.
"I'll tie him up. Kill the others," he said. Violet threw one knife after another to the prisoner that was pointing his gun at John, and Shaw punched the two that were with him.
"Nice throw, V," John said with a smile. "You're welcome," Shaw said to Raven, but she looked mad at him.
Violet walked past Shaw hitting him on his back "better luck next time."
She is next to Raven, looking for a gun. Violet wiggled her fingers looking excitedly at the guns. Raven was clearly upset. "He could have been killed," Raven said, looking at Violet.
"Yeah, well, people sometimes do stupid things for the people they care about," Violet said, looking at John, who had a big smile on his face as he got the big gun. "Oh, Hell, yeah," John said, looking at Violet. "I don't want him to die," Raven said, looking at the guns, not wanting to look at Shaw.
"Then tell him. Dont be a scary cat," Violet said and walked away, going for the kids.
They walked back to the cave. Elliott was sleeping with his head on John's chest. Violet was brushing Eloise's hair as she was sleeping near her.
"They're digging in at all three Northern entry points. Dry tributaries here, here, and here," she said, drawing xs. "Each position has two pillboxes on either side of the entry point, with gunners evenly divided," Echo said as she was drawing what they saw earlier.
"Son of a bitch. He's using my playbook. Two gunner positions at each entry point. My battle plan called for the use of Eligius blast shelters. I dropped my notebook at the gas station. McCreary must have found it," Diyoza said, looking at Echo.
"How detailed?" "Deployment formations. Weapons distributions. First strike options. Countermoves. Everything I could think of. And I think of everything," Diyoza explained.
"Okay. So, is there a safe way to get in or not?"
