There's a popular saying that goes, "if you can't beat them, join them." I think that's a wrong mentality to have. As children of God, we're called to be different. You are a new creation, a chosen generation, a royal priesthood but never were we told that we were nameless parts of the worldly crowd.
Everything about you in Christ, goes opposite to what the world does. You're now a friend to God which makes you an enemy to the world.
So why on Earth would you do what they do because a lot of them are doing it?
If anything, if you can't beat them, leave them. And while you're at it, pray for them that one day they'll come into Christ and walk away like you did.
