"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us."

~ Romans 8:18 (ESV)

COMMENT:
Our current sufferings are nothing compared to the glory that awaits us one day.

I love this verse. It is so encouraging to me to read this and know that there is a place of heavenly glory awaiting us.

No longer will we be in possession of these earthly, disease ridden bodies. We shall have new bodies. Glorified bodies. We shall also have a new name, known only to God and ourselves.

We shall not have to bear the sting of pain or death, nor crying or mourning. All that suffering will no longer exist.

We will live in a place where walls are decorated with precious stones (Rev 21) and where the sun and moon will not exist because God is the only light that is needed.

What suffering on this earth can compare with the beauty and magnificence of Heaven? None! We will be in a pure and glorious place, free from the stain of sin!
