"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guards your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:6-7 (ESV)

COMMENT:
These are two of my most favorite verses in the Bible because it serves as a reminder that God is always there when we need Him. The time or the day doesn't matter. He is always waiting with His arms outstretched.

My favorite part about these verses is the fact that when we go to the Lord in prayer, He fills us with a peace. A peace that calms our hearts and minds and rejuvenates our faith in His power and strength.

Every one of us has experienced anxiety at one point in our lives. (I constantly struggle with it.) How did you handle it? How can you handle it better?

The answer is right there in the above verses. Pray about it. Talk to God about it. Whenever those anxious feelings begin to cause turmoil, take it as a sign to turn to the Lord and pray. He will never let you down.
