Yelena left the garage annoyed after they informed her that her car would be yet another two days before they could fix it. On the one hand, it was mildly annoying because she had to borrow Stiles's jeep but on the other, it helped delay her return to college which gave her more time to come up with an explanation to give her father.

'The number you have dialed cannot be reached'

Yelena groaned as she began ranting "Stiles! Pick up the goddamn phone, my car still isn't ready so I have to walk home unless you pick me up, so, call me back!"

She huffed and shoved her phone into her pocket.

Becoming nervous when a black camero slowly drove beside her, then became even more alarmed when the window rolled down "Get in."

Derek Hale  Yelena tried to ignore the hot guy and carried on walking which proved difficult, especially when he called her name "Yelena."

She stopped in her tracks, Her name sounded foreign coming from his mouth

She narrowed her eyes at him

"How do you know my name?"

"Heard your buddy say it the other day, whilst you were on my property. Now get in. We need to talk about Scott."

Yelena thought for a moment as she looked back to where she just walked from, had Derek been following her? Did he want to turn her like he had Scott? Was it even him who bit Scott? Getting into this car might be the most reckless thing she'd ever done, however, if he killed her then it solved her college problem she thought to herself humorously. Against her better nature, Yelena got in his car, she wasn't really sure why but she felt a trust towards Derek.

"Fine." She replied as she walked around to the passenger side and got into the car. Although he wasn't smiling, Derek seemed to wear a pleased expression on his face, annoying Yelena slightly

"So about Scott.....What do you want?"

"You can't let the kid play that lacrosse game on Saturday," Derek stated casually but with an expression void of emotion.

Yelena studied him carefully. He seemed so empty, his facial expressions, his voice. Except he was very good-looking, she couldn't deny that. It was only when he made eye contact with her that she snapped out of it

"Why?" Yelena asked, she knew why but was hoping that Derek would share some more information "I mean why do you care?"

"If he loses it during the game and attacks someone, then he could expose us both." He frowned as he spoke.

Yelena shook her head and let out a bitter laugh "So this is all about you?"

Derek's hands tightened on the steering wheel as he sighed "Look this isn't my responsibility, Scott is not my problem."

Yelena paused and gaped at him, it didn't make sense, why would Derek turn him Into a werewolf, if he had no desire to look out for Scott. Wolves were meant to move in packs.

Derek's eyes flicked over to her as she continued to stare at him "You need to direct me, by the way." He said as he nodded to the road. She blinked and snapped out of it

"Uhm, the next left, stay straight and then take the right after the lights." She told him quietly. Derek nodded as they settled back into silence and once she noticed that he was following her directions, she began to feel comfortable knowing that he wasn't taking her back to the forest to turn her "You can call me Len, by the way."

He raised his eyebrows and nodded. She jumped as the vibrations of her phone broke the silence, she opened it to find messages from Stiles

Sorry! Was with Scott
