Dream POV: (Day before the party)
This morning I woke up feeling pretty good. My father has been ignoring me which is for the better, I guess. I don't need the whole talk about "Gay people go to hell" or "Being gay is sin, just be normal". Or, he'd probably just yell at me and I don't want to deal with either.
I've seen him around the house a few times, but he's only talking to Drista. It's though it doesn't bother me much now.
Either way, once I was ready. I did everything as normal. I Ate breakfast, made sure Drista was awake and left. My mornings are pretty simple.
I arrived at the school much earlier than I intended so I sat in my car waiting.
It was around the time George usually gets here. I get out of my car and see Lukas waiting where George parks most of the time.
We didn't say anything to one another, he just kept continuously glaring at me for some strange reason. There's not a single reason in the world he should hate me in any way. I mean there is, but we don't talk about that.
There's a possibility that it could be the reason, but something inside me was telling me that it wasn't.
Yes, I like his boyfriend, but he shouldn't know that. Unless he does, which I don't know why he would. It seems like I just met the dude even though I met him a month ago. He barely even talks to me.
Seconds later George's car pulls up.
He gets out and walks over to Lukas and kisses him on the cheek.
"What's up guys"
He says afterward
"Oh nothing, just came to see my lovely boyfriend"
Lukas replies with a discreet smug look in my direction. George didn't notice, he's kinda oblivious sometimes.
George's face went a little red to his response, though it annoyed me I learned to keep my jealousy intact around them. He then turned and looked at me
"Just came to say hi to my friend, that's all"
Lukas rolled his eyes, again without George noticing.
Geez, someone must have pissed in his cereal this morning cause he sure ain't in a good mood. Usually, I'm ignored by him, but wow. Today is a whole other level. Throughout our conversation, he was continuously giving me threatening looks.
I saw George glance at his phone. He looked up at me.
" We have to get going or we're gonna be late"
He stated
"Okay, let's go"
George quickly hugged Lukas then we ran to the entrance of the school. I didn't look back at Lukas cause I already knew that he'd be scowling at me. However, I did notice that George glanced back. I kinda hope he didn't see the look.
I don't want him to think we have issues, I may hate Lukas. But, I'd rather George be happy than not.
My morning classes went by as normal, during lunch I went to the cafeteria.
