She was silent and wise because she knows her Didi and Jija will never cross their words and she was there to support people and the family and most importantly help Shatrugna to be the reagent king and without Shatrugna, by the time Ram returns, some random enemy would have invaded Ayodhya, kosala. She is like a lotus, she looks silent and calm and soft, if anyone tries to disturb her and destroy her, she shows the power of her roots, deeply rooted into the soil of ethics and standards.
