You blankly stared at your ceiling as you lay on your bed. You blink a couple of times as you tilt your head on the side. You sat up and brushed your hands up to your hair, you then looked at your injured finger which is now wrapped in band aid.
Okay.... what the hell just happened tonight?
Your mind was kind of hazy after what happened in the kitchen. All you remembered was Sanzu having his hands all bloody while looking at Mikey angrily then all of a sudden Mikey stands up and say his farewell to you before leaving. Sanzu immediately walked out too, assuming to follow Mikey, Ran and Rindou were the only ones left and wanted to help you clean up but you refused and tell them you can handle it and they better go after Sanzu and Mikey.
As you lay in your bed you can't help but think how disastrous the dinner was. The awkward atmosphere, the new neighbor and the incident that happened on the kitchen earlier.
You slumped back down on the bed before rolling and hugging the pillow. You then buried your face and shout with frustration and embarrassment.
I can't believe I just kneeled there and make Mikey sucked on my finger! It was so inappropriate and embarrassing; how could he just do that to a person he just met. I mean I appreciate the effort of helping me but by doing that.... it made you feel things that you know are improper and wrong.
After screaming on your pillow for a good two minutes, you reached out to your phone when you heard a chime from it. When you opened it, you were greeted by a message from Sei.
'Hey Y/n, would next week be okay for our meet up?'
You sat properly in your bed before typing back your response.
'Sure, Sei-san! Just text me where we should meet up'
'Is your café, okay? I would love to see how it looks like'
You smiled at his text before standing up and going to the kitchen to have a glass of water. As you type your answer to his question you saw the box Mikey gave you laying on the counter top of your kitchen.
Right, I didn't have the chance to open it earlier. You walked towards it and examine the box; it was a regular brown box with thick layer and a red ribbon wrapped around it and secure it with a bow in front.
You even saw a letter pinned on the ribbon, you opened it and saw a familiar writing inside it.
'Hope we'll get along well Neighbor' =)
You saw a dozen of chocolate cookies inside but what really got your attention is his hand writing.
I think I saw this kind of hand writing before but I just can't remember where.
So, instead of standing there racking your brain where you saw it, you divert your attention to the cookies inside the box. You took one and inspect it, you could say it as well made based on the texture. You bite into it and immediately you could feel the chewiness and the crunch of some walnuts inside.
